This flu is nothing that just happened. It's 3 strains in one and was created in a lab.
So there was a coincidence in the timing of who was awarded a contract. She didn't say that Obama created this which is what your making it out to be. A lot of weird timings of stuff going on, but for Pete's sake stop turning something she pointed out into something she did not say.
I don't agree with the OPs statement about will Cheney come back and say I told you so, because this is not the concern of safety Cheney talked about.
I do believe there is more to the story that needs to be looked into.
So for Pete's sake calm down. She/he did not say Obama is at fault for the swine flu. You are trying to make something out of nothing.

inaccurate reporting by jumping on a story strictly for sensationalism. Mr. Latham has since been reinstated his job. It all turned out to be a misunderstanding by argumentative student that took something that Mr. Latham said, twisted it, and reported it to the principal. Once the misunderstanding was cleared up after all parties told their stories, Mr. Latham has his job back. Just another example of those ambulance chasers at Fox stirring the pot for their own hateful agenda. Maybe those of you on here that take everything they say as gospel woulld be wise to wait before you report something as fact!!

Self-education is so important. It has caused a total shift in paradigm for me. As an example, I was led to believe something very different about JFK by my very Republican family and friends. They continue to assassinate his character to this day. If Kennedy lived, America would be totally different now. He tried to dismantle the Federal Reserve, get the troops out of South Vietnam, and truly govern the people.

I am democrat but I have to say, this was the worst I've seen it in a long time. I didn't vote for Obama because I think he is as crooked as he can be, maybe moreso that a lot of others up there. I don't trust his affiliations. I saw early on that the ONLY people he is worried about is the Muslim nations......aaahh, last time I checked, that ain't us!
I realize why some people voted for him, but I actually care about what's going on. And now he's showing his true colors.
I noticed all throughout the campaign, any time someone apposed Obama, they got slammed with Palin and McCain......why? Just because I do not care for Obama certainly doesn't mean I care for Palin either. Thre were a lot of democrats who did vote for McCain simply because their gut instinct was that of not trusting Obama's true intentions.......

You don't give someone like the Queen of England an IPOD for pete's sake. I'll bet his kids pick it out themselves??? This is the Queen of England. He should have consulted with his staff or someone who is more knowledgeable as to what to give a foreign diplomat, especially someone like the Queen of England. And evidently she already has one. You would have thought he would have checked with someone in his office that is knowledgeable about what a proper gift to give would be. Ya think????? But that goes to show there is no one in his cabinet qualified on such issues. The gift should be a symbol of the US. Sorry but I and evidently many others don't think of IPODs when they think of the US. How juvenile to assume everyone would want an IPOD. Somehow I don't see the Queen bee-boppin to tunes stored on an IPOD. But what's worse...he downloaded all of his speeches. Can we say ewwww! Maybe he should have downloaded some episodes of South Park for her too.
If he could have shown how little he cared about a gift to her he just did. American is filled with many wonderful and talented artists. A very nice piece of art would have been much more appropriate than a friggin IPOD.
Maybe you should consider putting your love affair with him on hold and coming to the world here where not everyone lives for their IPOD.

What I am reading is that he has been hearing that a lot of people want one, not that he's inciting them. But he is trying to get to the bottom of what it would mean and what it would be like.
Besides, what do you think a revolution is all about? A revolution is standing up to a govt of Tyranny. It is up to them (govt) whether they make it violent or not. The people need to hold them accountable for what they are doing.

Why does this upset you so? If a student had taped a pro-Bush student would you be making fun of him? I highly doubt it. This kid was concerned that he was being continually being taught a particular political viewpoint in geography class. It happened more than once. I think the kid showed a lot of courage--it wouldn't have mattered to me what his political persuasion was. He should been learning geography and not subjected to political rants on either side.

Dustin Hoffman also made a comment on Letterman that the democrats taking over the House and Senate was a historic day. It was a comment nothing more. Same thing we already know Clinton is guilty of, because we saw him do it.

This is my first post on the Politics board. I'm struggling with my decision between voting D or R.
I'm a registered Democrat and have been pro O'Bama 100%... until this past week when I read "They Must Be Stopped" by Brigitte Gabriel, founder of ACT! For America at www.actforamerica.org.
First, I am in no way saying O'Bama is Muslim, I do not believe that, but I am concerned with his voting record regarding bills that would protect us here at home. I'm middle class and believe me, I want to support the tax cuts and programs he is talking about...
I do not understand why either side will not stand up and call the "War on Terror" what it really is. I see the American traditions I grew up with disappearing and being replaced with "politically correct" traditions. A supposedly holy book (Koran) calling for my death or to strip me of my rights as a woman. On and on and on.
I haven't seen anything mentioned about this issue and I am interested in how other women/men feel.
