Nancy Pelosi's great set up....apparently worked....and the media is buying into it and completely blaming the republicans...
clap
clap
clap
Let's see....at least five or six dems making preplanned speeches with only one republican interviewed on Fox...MSNBC only had dems on....and the commentator then blamed it on complete republican disarray.....
Now.......who is in the bag for whom.....
What a complete sham and waste of time.....
Sham: a spurious imitation; fraud or hoax. No spellcheck needed.
Maybe you should stop worrying about petty bunk and face the issues.
SHAM!
Michele Bachmann the misunderstood" A trap was
Apologizing afer her democratic Minnesota 6th district opponent received nearly $1 million in contributions in the aftermath of her HUAC statement, delivered with heated fervor. Might be more convincing if she weren’t trying to blame the guy who asked the question. Republican National Congressional Finance Committee is pulling her ads and running for the hills. Meanwhile, Tinklenberg ads will blanket the land after receiving additional backing from the Democratic National Congressional Finance Committee. She stepped into something all right, but it doesn't smell much like a trap, an impressive maneuver considering she had her foot in her mouth.
Another republican congressional seat bites the dust. That anti-American campaign rhetoric is working real well for them.
I'd be happy if he'd keep his trap shut until he becomes president
And NOT "most" people think he should be doing more. Just cus you and others seem to worship and love him NOT everyone else does and I'm sick of people saying that. He was put in office by one simple fact. The "committee" put him in. NOT the people. If the people were the "true" deciders we'd be seeing Hillary up there.
This isn't a "everyone is picking on him, dam3d if you do, dam3d if you don't" thing here. This is just plain wrong.
Come January 20th have at it. Get up and speak in front of the camera 24 hours/7 days a week for all I care. Right now he is NOT present and he is NOT co-president. Make all the decisions he wants to behind the scenes. He does not need to be giving press conferences talking about issues he should not be talking about until he takes office.
This is not complaining. This is voicing our utter distrust, disgust, and lack of faith in the guy. Bill Clinton was arrogant but compared to this guy???? Even Clinton didn't hold press conferences like this guy is. At least Bill Clinton respected the outgoing president.
Obama just can't keep his trap shut!
The truth sounds rude when put bluntly but still is the truth. nm
!!!! hahaha
Well, you said you had a busy day
not had time to turn on the TV yet. This is all over the networks.
Well, it's just another one of our busy
conversations! She seriously needs to find something to do with her life besides run down good people. She is hilarious!
Liberal truth vs. Conservative truth.

Sam too busy hanging out at tit-for-tat
su
She's too busy rolling them!
Seriously though, I think it all depends on your views (no pun intended) who you like or don't like on that show or elsewhere for that matter. I happen to like Bill O'Reilly and Sean Hannity, democrats hate them.
I was too busy griping about.........sm
the auto industry.....you really should be more patient, you know.
Perhaps you should take a bit of time out of your oh so busy...
day and read up on Charles Krauthammer. He is well-respected in Washington and has served in a couple of administrations. Expand your mind darling...

No doubt..........you were probably too busy
watching Pelosi jumping up and down like an idjit who escaped from the looney bin....
Even Biden and the others looked like they were sick and tired of that charade.

yer too busy puking to debate.
Did it every occur to you that we are busy doing instead of talking?
While I am sure that it has never occurred to you, you are the person who some time back said that you never make generalizations. That, obviously, was not true.
Too busy for blather and babble...
Which places me at distinct disadvantage when it comes to being on a level playing field. Rather than give you the satisfaction of taking that ball and running with it, being that rt-wingers love to have that last, best word and, when all else fails, to deploy their kick-em’when their down weaponry (one of their more notorious modus operandi), I have come to a decision.
GT/GW/BK is going to grant your wish and trot on off into the sunset where the first order of business will be to wash off all the mud and slime of slur and slander. My absence will remove your forum for all these trite tantrums and tirades. Besides, I have more that adequately illustrated the points I was trying to make. Your ignorant bigotry exposed itself, so I didn’t have to bother much with that. But as long as you insist on preaching sermons that polarize us from one another and couch them in contexts every bit as distasteful and hateful as you find Rev. Jeremiah Wright’s creed, there will always be enough “vitriol” coming from all sides, if that is the way you prefer to play your cards and tone you chose to set in your posts. Your bully tactics will never succeed in scaring off those who are willing to step forward to advocate for minority interests, human rights and diginity, inclusion and equality. Pull as many punches and take as many jabs as you like. There are plenty where those come from on both sides of an argument.
So from behind the cloak of chat room pen name anonymity, GT/GW/BW will be settling into retirement, composing brand new posts and looking for worthy opposition and viable solutions, not fringe fanatics and bar room brawls.
PS: FPJ, one in the same. The plagiary ball is back in your court, where it belongs. Interesting, though, just in case FPJ was an entirely different indivudual, you were already spinning "channeling" theories which you then tried to use to insult a hologram, discounting any possibility that FJP could conceivably be speaking on her own behalf. Ciao for now. It's been fun.
Replying to all your posts...keeps me busy....
and you all accuse me of keeping the thread alive. Hellloooo. 95% of my posts are in response to your attacks. Stop attacking, I stop replying. see how simple that is???
Sam busy w/damage control this a,m.
nm
Yes, i have plenty to keep me busy. Your attitude
just makes you seem somewhat sexist and I really was just curious?
While you're busy running around...
...monitoring and reading everyone's minds, it appears you've lost your own in the process.
It doesn't matter what a poster writes. If you perceive anyone even trying to support the President of the United States, you automatically go into full combat alert and slam that person, regardless. This is why intelligent, productive discussions can't be held on this board: too much bitterness, hatred and playground bully behavior.
Obama won. Your guy lost. How about showing some dignity and grace (if you're capable).

No..,.actually he is very busy RUNNING our country
He is the president of ALL the people and the MAJORITY of ALL people approve and support him. AND, much to your dismay I am quite sure, he is doing a GREAT job of it!
JBB won't read anything.....too busy pushing
--
No, you're too busy defending an incompetent
'Well, 'scuse me, GP. I was pretty busy
working today and didn't have much time to do anything else. I spotted that post and just wanted to see where it came from. FYI, I usually I DO my own research.
You're too busy trying to insult the posters
that I even copy your own words and you argue against that. One poster said he has never run for President or Vice President and you replied to that post and said "Yes he has". Brother I keep saying its like talking to a brick wall.
Busy working. Didn't pay attention
when that was going on. It was only after I started reading the posts on this board that I really started to nose around. If I would have known, I would've been protesting loudly. So, it's my fault in that respect.
I still don't have a lot of time to spend on this board, but someday I will. Some days I can't get on here at all. Other days, only 1/2 hour.
Bush is busy writing his legacy.
x
Everybody else is too busy getting ready for the coronation of the Obamanation!
x
Been trying to call the white house....busy ALL DAY!!
--
My goodness. O witch hunt sure is keeping you busy.
It is in its 3rd day. No comments on the discussions regarding party revamp? How about today's agenda? Keep your eye on Jindel. He did a great job in Louisiana with disaster mgmt...and GOP will be neding plenty of that in the 2008 election aftermath. Seriously, as a left-wing commie Marxist terrorist unAmerican anti-patriot, he has GOP leadership written all over him. Mayb you should take a hate break and take a look at him.
And no matter how many there are Obama will keep his law firms busy blocking them...
and spending, spending, spending.
They're busy trying to fix the mess the House Of Greed
JTBB doesn't have time for such things...too busy
xx
Asked for proof, suddenly she's too busy. LOL. Figures. nm
nm
Agree! Obama is too busy screwing us to worry bout
xx
President Bush is kinda busy right now, you know, a little thing called a hurricaine. sm
Cities ruined, people dead and missing, flooding, looting, stuff like that. Give it a rest.
I've had a busy week...put in 40 hours, voted my candidate into office,
I've earned a little free time. JT Plumber is a great poster boy for the GOP...especially the pervasive hypocrisy of it all.
The truth, the whole truth and nothing but...It's probably the biggest...sm
reason why I am voting democrat...they seem more honest than the the republicans and it looks like people are starting to get smart and *bailin' Palin*... We don't need to keep hearing her *greatest hits" version of her acceptance speech over and over and McSame's POW story...that was then, this is now...we need REAL change and we need it NOW. I don't need someone to push the red button, I need someone to fix the economy!
Truth? The truth is she is nuts!
nm
Truth
give me a freaking break, okay? The truth needs to be posted over and over and over again.
the truth
So true and so well put.
You could not be further from the truth. NM
...
Now, now, now... let's tell the TRUTH, which is NOT:
His first guest on his first show was Madalyn O'Hair (very appropo, since he is himself an atheist).
History IS important. Check yours.
Phil Donahue is a Catholic.
Where's the truth in the above?
It's just your fantasy of wanting Bush to get caught getting a B.J....and quoting Marey Carey, a former porn star. Any credibility you had you just flew out the window.
The truth is that no one really knows the truth about 911.sm
I think their secrecy surrounding the matter is creating oddball theories. I do not know if I would call them a subculture, but I know the 911 truth movement is quite large (millions). This will even be used as a political platform for a few running for office. One that comes to mind is Robert Bowman running for Congress.
Truth.
If you believe – That the Bible is the inspired Word of God That Jehovah God is a God of integrity and it is impossible for Him to break covenant because of His character, That Jesus Christ is our example, and we are to follow Him, Then there is no Biblical alternative to supporting Israel and the Jewish people.
Are you all nonbelievers here?
We already know the truth. nm
nm.
The truth (as you see it)...sm
Quotes from Mizz Coulter:
Freedom of Speech
* They're [Democrats] always accusing us of repressing their speech. I say let's do it. Let's repress them. Frankly, I'm not a big fan of the First Amendment.
o University of Florida speech; October 20, 2005.
Immigration
* I'd build a wall. In fact, I'd hire illegal immigrants to build the wall. And throw out the illegals who are here. [...] It's cheap labor.
o Fox News; The O'Reilly Factor; Transcript via Media Matters; April 14, 2006.
o On illegal immigration
Liberals
* VESTER: You say you’d rather not talk to liberals at all? COULTER: I think a baseball bat is the most effective way these days.
o (FOX News Channel, DaySide with Linda Vester, 10/6
New York Times
* My only regret with Timothy McVeigh is he did not go to the New York Times building.
o New York Observer article; August 26, 2002.
* Of course I regret it. I should have added 'after everyone had left the building except the editors and the reporters.'
o rightwingnews.com; June 26, 2003.
o On her (above) statement concerning Timothy McVeigh
* [Learning difficulties are a cover for] rich parents with dumb kids...That's why 'Pinch' Sulzberger, the publisher of The New York Times, is alleged to have dyslexia - because he's retarded.

Stevens, Justice John Paul

o Philander Smith College January 26, 2006 [6]
Women
* I think [women] should be armed but should not vote...women have no capacity to understand how money is earned. They have a lot of ideas on how to spend it...it's always more money on education, more money on child care, more money on day care.
o Comedy Central; Politically Incorrect; February 26, 2001.
* It would be a much better country if women did not vote. That is simply a fact. In fact, in every presidential election since 1950 - except Goldwater in '64 - the Republican would have won, if only the men had voted.
o [8]; May 17, 2003.
* I think the other point that no one is making about the [Abu Ghraib] abuse photos is just the disproportionate number of women involved, including a girl general running the entire operation. I mean, this is lesson, you know, number 1,000,047 on why women shouldn't be in the military. In addition to not being able to carry even a medium-sized backpack, women are too vicious.
o Fox News; Hannity & Colmes; May 5, 2004.
Voting
* I think there should be a literacy test and a poll tax for people to vote.
o Fox News; Hannity & Colmes; August 17, 1997.
Liberals hate religion because politics is a religion substitute for liberals and they can't stand the competition.
* Slander (2002) ISBN 1400046610, p. 194
Liberals hate America, they hate flag-wavers, they hate abortion opponents, they hate all religions except Islam, post 9/11. Even Islamic terrorists don't hate America like liberals do. They don't have the energy. If they had that much energy, they'd have indoor plumbing by now.
* Slander (2002) ISBN 1400046610, p. 5-6
I think the government should be spying on all Arabs, engaging in torture as a televised spectator sport, dropping daisy cutters wantonly throughout the Middle East and sending liberals to Guantanamo.
* Her column; December 21, 2005
* Governmental responsibility
* We were terrified that Jones would settle. It was contrary to our purpose of bringing down the president.
o Uncovering Clinton: A Reporter’s Story (1998), pg. 183.
o Paula Jones
* If those kids had been carrying guns they would have gunned down this one [teenage] gunman. ... Don't pray. Learn to use guns.
o Politically Incorrect; December 18, 1997.
o Heath High School shooting (where a gunman killed 3 students at a prayer meeting at the school). When she said Don't pray, Coulter may have been asked whether she approved of praying in school.
* [A] cruise missile is more important than Head Start.
o From a speech, November 2001, rebroadcast by C-Span in January, 2002.
o Education spending vs. defense spending
The list goes on:
These broads are millionaires, lionized on TV and in articles about them, reveling in their status as celebrities and stalked by griefparrazies. I have never seen people enjoying their husband's deaths so much. -on 9/11 widows who have been critical of the Bush administration
We need somebody to put rat poisoning in Justice Stevens' creme brulee. That's just a joke, for you in the media.
Liberals love America like O.J. loved Nicole.
There are a lot of bad republicans; there are no good democrats.
We need to execute people like (John Walker Lindh) in order to physically intimidate liberals.
Whether they are defending the Soviet Union or bleating for Saddam Hussein, liberals are always against America. They are either traitors or idiots.
We should invade their countries, kill their leaders, and convert them to Christianity.
Liberals are stalwart defenders of civil liberties -- provided we're only talking about criminals.
We've finally given liberals a war against fundamentalism, and they don't want to fight it. They would, except it would put them on the same side as the United States.
Press passes can't be that hard to come by if the White House allows that old Arab Helen Thomas to sit within yards of the President.
The swing voters -- I like to refer to them as the idiot voters because they don't have set philosophical principles. You're either a liberal or you're a conservative if you have an IQ above a toaster.
