Palin eats the moose she kills. That's why God gave us some animals, for food! And if you every had any livestock, you'd understand why populations of wolves, etc are kept in control. Some of you are so out of touch with the planet, nature and all, just living in a delusionary world.

Deer meat
My husband fillets it with not a trace of fat, and it's so lean! He did something different this year. He cut it into speedies and marinated it for a few days, then cooked it on kabobs on the grill in the garage (freezing outside). That was soooo good! My 13-year-old got that one with his muzzle loader.
mmmm deer meat
I'm still waiting on ours! Hopefully hubby will get one this weekend, can't afford to keep buying meat at the price it is at! Plus deer meat is so much healthier for you!
My mother also tans hides, so ALL the deer gets used :-D
We have a meat packing plant in my town
it has been here for 60+ years and never had problems getting those "lazy" Americans to work. My uncle was employed there for years and it was backbreaking work. He wasn't lazy. He was trying to feed his family. Over the past few years, the owner has tried to sneek in illegals so he could pay less as well as a construction business making roof framework for homes. They never have had trouble finding hard working folks; they just want to get the job done for LESS and LESS. So, please don't try pulling that "lazy" American routine.
Yeah, I really see the unemployed folks in my area clamoring for those meat- sm
packing and farm labor jobs....NOT. Look, let's pick our battles over illegals. I live in a rural area where primarily Mexican immigrants slave in the asparagus, hops, grape and onion fields from dawn to dusk, bent over and doing back-breaking work. You couldn't get the lazy American folks to come take those jobs in million years.
