Here is a comment from one from an international news blog I visit:
Not too much has been written about the events of Thursday morning,that's
o.k though, as after endless hours of utter dribble from braindead Pentagon
paid reporters,everyone else just knew the whole thing reeks of dead socks,
and that to write something would just be an affirmation to those views.
Having said that, While lying in bed I left on the telly, and as I wrote
earlier, we have CNN europe.
Well we do until Larry King comes on, then it's an ad every 2 seconds, and
yes American PROGRAMMING for about 2 hours, talk about OVERKILL.
During this time,(and this following on from the farcical U.N stuff), all
that was spoken about was about this so called plot.
MI5 had infiltrated the group, and had been surveilling all for some time.
Then someone in Pakistan, you know, Al Qaeda, those guys from the CIA, sent
a text message saying Do your attacks now.
Well that was clever of them wasn't it? they probably left their attached
passport details and phone numbers, should anything happen.
Well by this time,those clever men at CI5 thought that the PLOT was to go
through a dry run,- so they had to make some sudden arrests. Of course all
these people must work for A Q because they're Muslim and speak a foreign
language, and are no doubt clever with a box cutter, and familiar with the
general workings of shampoo and hair gel.
So they found this list lying around somewhere, and then this guy who works
at the airport, another who wants to be a chemist, and so on. You get the
picture.
Then they looked up their adresses and paid them a visit.
Knock knock who's there? MI5,open up hang on,I'll just put my bomb
making equipment away,- actually that's a lie, as they didn't knock,they
kind of drove a bulldozer through the door first,to give the neighbours
something to talk about later.
Having then arrested these so called key players,police chiefs and those in
the know, then wiped their brow, at a job well done.
Wow they'd saved the country and the world at large, from their imaginary
scenario,- don't they just deserve a pat on the back!
Now they're going to confiscate the vaccuum cleaners from these houses,all
in the name of science of course, they want to pick through the dust and
carpet bugs in the hope of finding some of this magical formula, to make the
convictions stick.
They'll something of course, as this is CI5 and they're professionals.
And wasn't it a good thing that after following this for a long time, a
couple of years maybe at least, they swung into action at the very last
second, just like on the t.v.
Well now Al Qaeda is EVERYWHERE it's on your t.v and radio, in your paper,
back yard,garage,local corner shop,street,bathroom,and maybe even under your
bed.
So do a quick check there before sleeping, as you never know, what the
morning may bring.
And remember report any found box cutters,gels,handcreams, perfumes, shaving foam, soaps,aircraft manuals,flight tickets, hard disks, sprays and so on, bearing the fingerprints and signatures of AQ to your local police station immediately and pay extra special attention when in a Muslim neighbourhood.
Be vigilant.
