So you think we should use

corn to produce Ethanol?  Is thata better idea?  Especially since we not only eat corn but farmers also use it to feed their livestock.  As much gas as we use....there just won't be enough corn to do the job.  What about electric cars?  Like I said before, we do not have a power grid big enough to handle everyone going home to plug their cars in and if Obama starts cap and trade, we won't be able to afford our regular electricity prices let alone adding a couple of vehicles being plugged in all night. 

Just like anything else, when it first comes out it is expensive and only the rich and celebs can afford them.  Once more and more people get them and the technology is improved, the cost will come down a bit for the rest of us.

We already have hybrids out there and you see them occasionally out on the road but my husband runs a dealership and he has the hardest time selling hybrids over regular vehicles.
