talking so much I just want to put this out there to you. Please don't take it offensively.
Do you think the reason you are struggling so much with your decision is conviction? I mean do you think it's a possibility that you don't have peace about it is because God is trying to tell you to vote another way?
I know that when I'm trying to make decisions a lot of times if I'm leaning towards the wrong decision God will make me feel uncomfortable, whereas I won't be able to find peace and I'll constantly think about the issue. But when I start thinking on what He would have me do I usually come to a better decision and when I do I usually find peace rather quickly.
For example: Our church is very small, and we have been offered to join with another church nearby. The catch is they want us to move there, which would take the church out of the community it is in. We have been asked to pray and pray about this before coming to a decision. It seems like our congregation is split right now on whether to move or not. Whenever I think about the decision to go, I feel completely uneasy. I feel like we are supposed to be in that community (as I've told you before it's a low income trailer park with a lot of hardened people). This past weekend at our community clean up I made a decision that I would vote to stay after much prayer and thought, and since then I have felt at ease.
Just something to think on.
