The media Reverend Wright'd, Bill Ayers'd, Tony Rezco'd, terrorist association'd, fist-jab'd, Osama'd, Hussein'd, madrassa'd, racist'd, rookie'd, baby-momma'd, rock star'd, messiah'd, chosen one'd, anti-Christ'd, anti-patriot'd, flag pin'd and national anthem'd him to death, and that's just off the top of my head.
Point is, he rose above it, kept his cool, continued to hammer away at his platform and, hey, guess what? He won the election.
Besides that, after having to wait almost 7 years (until the 2007 presidential primaries) to start seeing ANY progressive issues surface in the mainstream, I have become completely numbed by the bias. It doesn't matter to me anymore. If anyone is really interested in fair and balancewd, mainstream media would be the last place to go.
