So sick of phoney outrage......
Maybe if ppl had half a brain, they would be outraged by real issues. Our constitution has been used as TP. Ignore your rights and they will just go away.
Yawn. More phoney outrage.

Reply to phoney outrage over Chicago politics is on message.
from which so many repugs on this board suffer and the silence they maintain on W's reign of terror and corruption.
I don't think the whole thing is baseless....sm
but I do believe that nothing will ever come of it. That is not to say that there is nothing there. On the contrary, I believe that there is WAY more to this than is imagined in the mind of the most avid conspiracy theorist.
Think about it....has any other presidential candidate ever caused quite such a stir before ever getting into office and for what.........his country of origin? Nothing like this was ever even a consideration up until now. And if Hillary leaked it in the first place, aren't you a bit curious as to why someone whom Obama said had minimal foreign experience is now our SOS, a position that requires delicate handling of foreign affairs?
I doubt very seriously, in spite of all my vocalizing on this board, that anything will ever be found out. There is bigger money than Obama's at work here in more ways than one.
I sincerely hope that whatever the tarhooties you were smoking to make that baseless statement
is the last of your stash..
start a phoney war
Even mr. So? cheney admitted they were going to do it whatever the results of inspections were, let people drown in Katrina, let the terrorists kill 2000 people -- but dodge that shoe, and my, my what a great leader you are. Groan. I am so glad the majority of citizens woke up.

That is because Obama is a phoney.

Mostly accusations
just because somebody perceives it was a scandal does not make it so...
false accusations
You know, back in the late 1990's, I belonged to a political group and there was one person who started off posting okay, as the hours went on, her posts grew more and more illogical, like how yours do. Well, when I finally befriended her, she confided she was an alcoholic and when she first sat down, she was okay, as she drank, her posts did not make sense. Kind of like your posts. I have told you over and over, I NEVER wished rotting in hell to anyone on any of these boards, I wish it still for Bush and all that got us into this never-ending war against *terrorism*. Then you state I called the three cohorts three stooges, nope, not me. The thing that cracks me up, is the proof is in the pudding. The posts are here for anyone to read and see that your accusations are false. So, why dont you just put that bottle down, its only gonna give you major organ damage in the long run. A nice cup of green tea can be just as relaxing.
Enough of the socialism accusations
Here's you link expanded.
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/socialism
1. Any of various economic and political theories advocating collective or governmental ownership and administration of the means of production and distribution of goods.
2. a: A system of society or group living in which there is no private property. b: A system or condition of society in which the means of production are owned and controlled by the state
3. A stage of society in Marxist theory transitional between capitalism and communism and distinguished by unequal distribution of goods and pay according to work done.
Notice that socialism is predicated on the concept of collective/governmental ownership of private property. Here are a couple of links for you. Looks like Obama is pretty much into private ownership. The list below is of title to various economic stimulus plans. They pretty much seem to be centered around free enterprise concepts. Now show me your links where Obama has indicated abolishing private ownership and replacing it with government collective ownership, if you don't mind.

“I believe that America's free market has been the engine of America's great progress. It's created a prosperity that is the envy of the world. It's led to a standard of living unmatched in history. And it has provided great rewards to the innovators and risk-takers who have made America a beacon for science, and technology, and discovery. We are all in this together. From CEOs to shareholders, from financiers to factory workers, we all have a stake in each other's success because the more Americans prosper, the more America prospers.”— Barack Obama, New York, NY, September 17, 2007

O has some bad friends. Not accusations,
nm
Their accusations as empty as their heads.
That was how they managed to cow the opposition on the other board, Reader - by initiating shocking personal attacks, maybe you recall that if you were there.
But I totally agree with you, you can't fend off a pack of snarling wolves with toy gun - predictable that that is what they WISH we would do . You can't be courteous to them because they see that as a sign of weakness and take it as the signal to go in for the kill. Then they call you hateful if you point out what a lawless and opportunistic group they really are.
Funny, you never defended her accusations against me
When she accused me of having multiple personalities/monikers on this board. IMHO freedom of speech includes not having to speak to those you don't wish to. Obviously I am not the only one who feels this way.
Evidently these tiresome accusations
Ever get the feeling you are being tuned out? Boy cries wolf once too often?
Iran's meddling accusations....sm
I disagree TOTALLY with your suggestion how O should have reacted to the ongoing protests, I quote from your psot:
'Yes, it would have been better if he had just said ANYthing just a wee bit strong...hey Mahmoud...couldn't you just stop beating the crap out of protestors in front of the TV cameras? Bad form old boy. Makes you look bad.'
Bad tactic and bad advice.
Sounds like 'cowboy-jargon' to me.
BTW, read the accusations of the Iranian government, although Obama stayed passive and restraint:
'The Iranian government has directly accused the United States of meddling in the deepening crisis. A statement by state-run Press TV blamed Washington for "intolerable" interference.
The report, on Press TV, cited no evidence.'
Try again - Outrage should be with
Clinton/NAFTA - that's where it began. Unfortunately it continued on. GW may have not helped, but Clinton started it.
Shame on you for distorting facts.
Where was your outrage......
when Muslim men in this country beat and murdered their daughters and wives? Why didn't you call them Muslim terrorists? Religious zealots? Pleeze...... get off the "Christian" kick you seem to be stuck on. There are plenty of Muslims in this country who are true terrorists and hate you for no other reason than you are just an American, religion or not! The black men who were just arrested after the CIA caught them planning to blow up a building and now the other black man who converted to Islam and was trained by the jihad. Where is all your outrage about that? Please get your priorities in order!
This man should not have been killed. He would have had to answer to God sooner or later but your lack of compassion or outrage for the children murdered at his hands is quite telling!
Like phoney food stamp flyers covered with racial stereotypes,
Obama Halloween ghost hung in effigy to greet 5-year old trick-or-treaters weren't there? How about straight from the horse's mouth? Books have been written on the subject. Here's just one excerpt:
1. McCains use of the anti-Asian slur "Gook" publicly for 27 years before dropping the term for his current presidential run.
2. McCain's endorsement of George Wallace Jr., a frequent speaker at white supremacist events.
3. His vote against establishing a holiday for MLK's birthday and another vote to rescind the holiday, turning hypocrite to say "I was wrong" at a campaign rally.
4. While answering a question about divorced fathers and child support, McCain called the children "tar babies."
There is certainly no shortage of example of racial hatred out of the McCain camp? I could research the subject some more if necessary to prove this point, but I think you get the general idea.
The Death of Outrage.
Ever read it? Great book. Bill Bennett wrote it. It's very applicable to certain people. You might not like it. Well, anyway, what Bennett was doing (and he explained it) is what you would do in a hypothetical philosophical discussion.
I'll use a silly example: Suppose we were in the Star Wars galaxy, both former senators, sitting at a posh club on Coroscant drinking jin-jin juice. You happened to remark to me, You know, I hear it has been said in the Outer Rim that if we killed all the Jedi babies, there would be less mind control instances. Now, some ditz from the Tatooine Times-Picayune records us secretly and has it on MSNBCABCCBSNBCFOX channel on the Galactic Network. Except, they only playback this part,if we killed all the Jedi babies, there would be less mind control instances. Would you still say it was stupid, ill-conceived of yourself to say that? Bennett was alluding, of course, to Freakanomics, and if you don't know what that is, then you have no business even discussing this subject at all. But if you DID know what that was, and you were of a mind to say, he should have mentioned Freakanomics often during the conversation, then I would ask you this. Do you constantly say over and over in each sentence in a conversation any reference you are alluding to in a discussion? Oh, I know how very bad many here want to portray Bill as a racist. But he isn't. Not that the truth will matter one iota to you. Remember that stupid remark your HERO Bill Maher made on his show that got him yanked off the air? Remember, he called Clinton a coward and the terrorists heroes. He wasn't really serious, he was just kind of throwing it out there, but GOSH OH GOLLY people took him seriously and POOF he was gone. He's back, which is unfortunate, but I know how much you like him. See, sometimes people say things in ways you really have to dig for the meaning. I will give you that Bennett could have said what he said differently. Hyperbole is wasted on people with concrete thinking (all Republicans are rich, The Democrats are the party of the poor). What I WON'T GIVE YOU is that Bennett is a racist. Because he isn't.
Over and over, this has been debunked
Why can't we have intelligent discussion of the issues that need to be sorted out by the candidates. Where do they actually stand and yes, BACKED BY FACT. We should try. This is an important election.
who debunked it?
The fine drivebys, like NBC, CBS, ABC, CNN, etc.? A female caller on Rush Friday said it was on her credit card bill. So debunk that.
The drive-bys are SO in the tank for Obama they're literally desperate. I pity you.
phony outrage coming from the
nm
who no sexist outrage last week
when female commentator on Fox morning show made comment about Sara being nominated because she has "t**s" (female mammary glands). I saw the clip -- have heard no anguished cries from the conservatives about sexist on this one.
Shame on you....as been debunked.
http://www.audacityofhypocrisy.com/2008/08/30/dailykos-rumors-debunked-here-is-sarah-palin-pregnancy-photo-on-feb-10th-2008/
IT has been debunked. The woman who...
said she was a member has recanted. She has always been registered republican. Her husband was a member several years ago.
Obama's pastor as recently as last year said "God dam* AMerica." Both Obama and his wife attended that church for 20 years.
Comparing the statements...and the person who made them...I would say there is no room to accuse Sarah Palin about her husband than to accuse Obama and his wife about their pastor/mentor/friend who married them and baptized both of their children.
Can we leave this nonissue now?
Gee, it's funny how you guys can go to page 11 to prove a point or hurl accusations.
The debate, actually several of them were with Lurker and are probably on page 2 or 3. The person you speak of whom you saw was not debating, she was trolling and causing trouble. THAT isn't debate, but maybe we have just solved the problem. You think it is debate. Well there you go!
All of this has been debunked! Link inside. sm

debunked. The woman who said she was a member...
recanted. Sorry. Maybe you should have vetted your source a little better.
Debunked. Woman recanted....

There was no surplus. That was debunked years ago.
And the Democrats are largely responsible for the shape we are in. John McCain tried to pass legislation in 2005 to regulate Fannie/Freddie. However, Chris Dodd (head of banking and commerce committee, and largest recipient of Fannie/Freddie contributions) and the Democrats blocked it. Fannie/Freddie started this freefall in the economy. Obama is #2 on the contributions list. John McCain is wayyyyy on down the list. Then the democrats (the ones sitting now) pushed by Chris Dodd and Barney Frank in turn pushed fannie/freddie to give all those subprime loans to minorities and lower income folks, to people with either no credit or bad credit, knowing full well most of them didn't have a hope in heck of paying it back...it is THOSE mortgages we are going in hock to pick up.
Franklin Raines, James Johnson, Jamie Gorelick, Timothy Howard...all Democrats, two of them Obama advisors...ALL walked away from Fannie with golden parachute of MILLIONS after cooking the books.
And WE are picking up the tab.
NOBAMA, NODEMOCRAT, NO WAY, NO HOW!!
Debunked? see inside for link
Associated Press, 10/15/08. Click link below.
We insist bc issue has NOT been debunked because
Still waiting for the courts to decide.
Actually Bill O'Reilly debunked this.
ACORN is not taking over the census for entire states or the entire US......however, they will be conducting the census for certain areas. So they won't be in charge of the whole shebang, but they will be doing this for some areas.....which in itself is scary considering the fraud that went on during this past presidential election.
There was more outrage over the Dan Rather forgery than the yellow cake documents..sm
Pretty much sums up the state of affairs we find ourselves in.
The essence of their outrage is hijacked by just plain hatred.
hatred of Bush, anything to do with Bush. The mere mention of his name causes the bile to rise and the red mist to engulf them. They hate, hate, hate. They blame, blame, blame. It's what they do. There is no having conversations with them. They don't see reason. They don't see fairness. They see nothing but hate.
Not hatred, outrage because of blind loyalty, and I am an Independent....sm
Democrat who thinks for herself and does not have to swallow party lies, or cling to bad loyalties. America means we can ,and SHOULD think for ourselves, I may carry a party affiliation, but I go with my gut, my own intelligence, my instincts, and all the information and education I can get.....you can follow a party, but not into a burning building, as the Bush supporters do....we can all be independent, that is why we have this country, time to get away from that "US OR THEM" theology and be AMERICAN, blind party loyalty is just mass insanity.
Do a search on this board. This is old news, debunked. nm
.
People keep insisting BC issue has been debunked
You really do need a reality check here. Obama "could be" the next president? The electoral college is going to confirm the WAY more than comfortable 192 electoral vote lead he holds over McCain (365 vs 173). I hate to break this to you, but the pubs' October surprise is not going to be a November surprise, December surprise, a 2009 surprise or any other kind of surprise. I have answered your BC ramblings before and will not take any more of my time to try to get this through your thick skull again. Like I said, if I were you I would not hold my breath. Everything else in your post is pure fantasy. I prefer to take my politics with some semblance of substance.
Love how outrage against genocidal statements is deemed "political correctness" by the Right.
How absolutely low can they go.
BTW, Popular Mechanics pretty much debunked all the myths you speak of.
