Americans of all walks of life had slaves for the longest time. Germans went along with the annihilation of Jews. Any walk of life is prone to it's mistakes. For all we know in 50 years people will look back and go "OH MY I can't believe they ever had abortions" (probably not with the downhill slide we're on).

No one said Christians were perfect. We're still human and still prone to mistakes and misinterpretations. That's why it's important to study the Bible instead of blindly follow one person's idea of what it says!
