If the dead can influence events, he must have. Dad's sense of humor always tended toward the whoopie cushion/hand buzzer type. We still laugh about the funeral. And everybody at the wake afterward, when they finally were let in on the joke split a gut over it as well.
My sister eventually divorced her husband because that was just one example of his failure to get with the program, humor-wise. Self-importance sort of permeated his whole personality.
