1. While this is an area directly related to who I am, I have no intention of becoming married in the traditional heterosexual manner whether legalized or not. However, I think if we're going to ban marriage, it should be banned for all.
2. I am not on welfare. If I was on welfare, I would want, for myself, a way out of that situation. I would want to find a way to have some sort of occupational re-training or training to get me out of that asap.
3. If you are against abortion, don't have one. Men against abortion should consider vasectomies. I don't agree with women having them as a convenience, but like it or not, it is and should be up to them.
We can't legislate everything we dislike. Too many people want government out of our lives...unless it involves insinuating their own beliefs, likes, dislikes, disdain for certain acts into everyone else's life who do not share their views. It's all well and fine to have your values, but one must respect that this applies to everyone (with respect to legality), agreeable or not, hateful or not, no matter your opinion on their choices.
There are a lot of things in this world that I find distasteful and frankly that I just plain hate...yes, hate. Doesn't mean there are laws against all those things, nor that there should be. If people want government out of our lives, it needs to be out of EVERYONE'S life...all the way out, no picking and choosing.
