Oh, I know.....(sm)

Let's just ditch the stimulus package and do nothing but provide tax cuts for big corporations because that's what the pubs want.  It hasn't worked since Reagan, but hey, you never know, a miracle could happen and the fundamentals of econ 101 just might change.  This will keep the corporations from going under because they can just go overseas for their workforce (of course with a tax discount for doing that thanks to the shrub).  Meanwhile the rest of us can live off the land, get back to nature...you know...closer to God.  Give me a break!

This stimulus provides for tons of jobs (short term and long term) as well as programs to help people who have either already lost thier jobs or are in dire straights.  What does that mean?  It means more money goes into the economy when people get it instead of corporations.  When people spend money, consumer confidence goes up.  The housing crisis is to be addressed in another piece of legislation that is coming.

The only problem with the stimulus that I see is that the dems have not done a very good job of explaining it.
