then he shouldn't be president. Why? Because if we open that precedent, than anyone from any nation can run for president, and seeing as how many people will vote based on what they hear (or think they hear), all it would take would be a charismatic, young, exciting, progressive, man or woman from another country to come in with a hidden agenda and run for president and get voted in and then show us what he or she really had in mind for our country.

On the second one not one person could really name any specifics, just regurgitated whatever they heard on the t.v., internet, speeches, etc. I especially love the one that said "he's beautiful!" I didn't realize that was a point for voting...

You can also listen to the Howard Stern interviews where they listed Mccain's platforms as Obama's and asked people if that is why they were voting for Obama and they all said "yeah! definitely!" I didn't want to paste those because of the language though.

I'm not saying all of his supporters were dimwits, but a lot of them just voted for him because he was new, young, "hip", black, and a smooth talker. Believe me, being a 22-year-old college student, he appealed to me at first too, until I found out the things he stood for.

then why doesn't he provide it to the court, along with his medical and educational background?  I don't think a scan of a birth certificate does it.  Give the evidence to the court.  Factcheck.org has the Annenburg connection, so it is not an objective source.


Does that not bother you that he will not do the right thing?  If he has nothing to hide, why is this buried in the legal system?  Get it over with and provide it to the court.

He said there was a law on the books in Illinois to protect these babies. In this article, he says there was a bill federally that he *would have* voted for. He killed the bill in Illinois by sitting on it as head of the Health and Human Services Committee. Which is it, Obama?

He is so pro-abortion that he refused as an Illinois state senator to support legislation to protect babies who survived late-term abortions...

...State and federal versions of this bill became an issue earlier this decade because of "induced labor abortion." This is usually performed on a baby with Down's Syndrome or another problem discovered on the cusp of viability. A doctor medicates the mother to cause premature labor. Babies surviving labor are left untreated to die.

Jill Stanek, who was a nurse at Christ Hospital in Oak Lawn, Ill., testified in the U.S. Congress in 2000 and 2001 about how "induced labor abortions" were handled at her hospital.

"One night," she said in testimony entered into the Congressional Record, "a nursing co-worker was taking an aborted Down's Syndrome baby who was born alive to our Soiled Utility Room because his parents did not want to hold him, and she did not have the time to hold him. I couldn't bear the thought of this suffering child lying alone in a Soiled Utility Room, so I cradled and rocked him for the 45 minutes that he lived."

In 2001, Illinois state Sen. Patrick O'Malley introduced three bills to help such babies. One required a second physician to be present at the abortion to determine if a surviving baby was viable. Another gave the parents or a public guardian the right to sue to protect the baby's rights. A third, almost identical to the federal Born Alive Infant Protection Act President Bush signed in 2002, simply said a "homo sapiens" wholly emerged from his mother with a "beating heart, pulsation of the umbilical cord or definite movement of voluntary muscles" should be treated as a "'person,' 'human being,' 'child' and 'individual.'"

Stanek testified about these bills in the Illinois Senate Judiciary Committee, where Obama served. She told me this week he was "unfazed" by her story of holding the baby who survived an induced labor abortion.

On the Illinois Senate floor, Obama was the only senator to speak against the baby-protecting bills. He voted "present" on each, effectively the same as a "no."

"Number one," said Obama, explaining his reluctance to protect born infants, "whenever we define a pre-viable fetus as a person that is protected by the Equal Protection Clause or the other elements in the Constitution, what we're really saying is, in fact, that they are persons that are entitled to the kinds of protections that would be provided to a -- a child, a 9-month old -- child that was delivered to term. That determination then, essentially, if it was accepted by a court, would forbid abortions to take place. I mean, it -- it would essentially bar abortions, because the Equal Protection Clause does not allow somebody to kill a child, and if this is a child, then this would be an anti-abortion statute."

That June, the U.S. Senate voted 98-0 in favor of the Born Alive Infants Protection Act (although it failed to become law that year). Pro-abortion Democrats supported it because the following language was added: "Nothing in this section shall be construed to affirm, deny, expand or contract any legal status or legal right applicable to any member of the species homo sapiens at any point prior to being born alive as defined in this section."

Democratic Sen. Barbara Boxer explained that with this language the "amendment certainly does not attack Roe v. Wade."

On July 18, 2002, Democratic Sen. Harry Reid called for the bill to be approved by unanimous consent. It was.

That same year, the Illinois version of the bill came up again. Obama voted "no."

In 2003, Democrats took control of the Illinois Senate. Obama became chairman of the Health and Human Services committee. The Born Alive Infant bill, now sponsored by Sen. Richard Winkel, was referred to this committee. Winkel also sponsored an amendment to make the Illinois bill identical to the federal law, adding -- word for word -- the language Barbara Boxer said protected Roe v. Wade. Obama still held the bill hostage in his committee, never calling a vote so it could be sent to the full senate.

A year later, when Republican U.S. senate candidate Alan Keyes challenged Obama in a debate for his opposition to the Born Alive Infant Bill, Obama said: "At the federal level there was a similar bill that passed because it had an amendment saying this does not encroach on Roe v. Wade. I would have voted for that bill."

natural born does not mean you have to be born physically in the US -
My daughter was born in Germany, but because I am an American she is an American. She has no problems and is considered natural born - that just means you did not have to go through the hoops to become an American citizen.
I have pictures of O being brought up in Kenya
where he went to school and going to school there costs a lot of money.  I am talking about K-8 grade, not in America and that is during his younger years.
This makes me like Obama...

I am a lifelong Democrat and this makes me happy, I am not voting for Obama sm
I honestly DO NOT care what color his skin is! I also don't really care that Sarah Palin doesn't have a dingle dangle between her legs either. These things do NOT matter.

I would not vote for Obama because as far as I am concerned, he thinks he stands for being a minority. We are headed into another Depression or at least recession. Education in this country is a sick joke. The housing market is crashing. On and on. It is a LOT of gloom and doom and I can't see where Obama stands on ANYTHING. Milquetoast all the way around.

I am not exactly a McCain fan. I met him in 1976, not so very long after he returned from Vietnam. I was a kid and he had a profound impact. I am NOT a Republican, I DO NOT like their platform and I am NOT a conservative...but by golly I will vote for him. I think he can do the job and I think he has ideas. Some of them are wrong to be sure, but he HAS SOME.

As for Sarah Palin, she is not afraid of much I suspect. She wasn't afraid to bring a Down syndrome child into the world and commit to raising him. She had young ones at home, but that didn't stop her going up for office. Fearless and gutsy, brave and standing behind her convictions, such as no abortions...yes I can respect her even if I don't agree with her.

I looked at a picture of her and I saw someone who will likely BE president, and not the VP in the fullness of time. I saw a REAL woman, not a fake, not a politician. Can she be president without making mistakes? No, but no one else can either. She knows what it is to run a household, so yes I think she can run the country. A woman can tell you it is just the same, only bigger and that isn't important to please all the children all the time, but to get the job DONE.

CAN MUSLIMS BE GOOD AMERICANS?



This is very interesting and we all need to read it

from start to Finish and send it on to anyone who will read it. Maybe this is why our American Muslims are so quiet and not speaking out about any atrocities. Can a good Muslim be a good American?

This question was forwarded to a friend who worked in Saudi Arabia for 20 years. The following is his reply:



Theologically - no. . . . Because his allegiance is

to Allah, The moon God of Arabia



Religiously - no. . . Because no other religion is

accepted by His Allah except Islam (Quran, 2:256)(Koran)



Scripturally - no. . . Because his allegiance is to

the five Pillars of Islam and the Quran.



Geographically - no . Because his allegiance is to

Mecca , to which he turns in prayer five times a day.



Socially - no. . . Because his allegiance to Islam

forbids him to make friends with Christians or Jews ..



Politically - no. . . Because he must submit to the

mullahs (spiritual leaders), who teach annihilation of

Israel and destruction of America , the great Satan.




Domestically - no. . . Because he is instructed to

marry four Women and beat and scourge his wife when she

disobeys him (Quran 4:34)



Intellectually - no. . Because he cannot accept the

American Constitution since it is based on Biblical

principles and he believes the Bible to be corrupt.



Philosophically - no. . . Because Islam, Muhammad,

and the Quran does not allow freedom of religion and

expression. Democracy and Islam cannot co-exist. Every

Muslim government is either dictatorial or autocratic.



Spiritually - no. . . Because when we declare

'one nation under God,' the Christian's God is

loving and kind, while Allah is NEVER referred to as

Heavenly father, nor is he ever called love in The

Quran's 99 excellent names.



Therefore, after much study and deliberation....



Perhaps we should be very suspicious of ALL MUSLIMS

in this country. - - - They obviously cannot be both

'good' Muslims and good Americans.



Call it what you wish it's still the truth. You

had better believe it. The more who understand this, the

better it will be for our country and our future. The

religious war is bigger than we know or understand. .. ....



And Barack Hussein Obama, a Muslim, wants to be our

President? You have GOT to be kidding! Wake up America !



Obama even says if he wins the election, he will be

sworn in on the Quran---not a Bible!

current office and he refuses to pledge allegiance to the

United States or put his hand over his heart when the National Anthem is played! The Muslims have said they will

Raila Odinga has, in his own words, a 'close personal friendship' with Barrack Hussein Obama Junior.When Obama went to Kenya in August of 2006, he was hosted by Raila and spoke in praise of him at rallies in Nairobi: Obama's bias for his fellow Luo was so blatant that a Kenya government spokesman denounced Obama during his visit as Raila's ‘stooge.’ When Raila Odinga lost the presidential election to Mwai Kibaki, he claimed the vote was rigged, whereupon his tribal followers went on murderous rampages such as in the town of Eldoret, where on New Years Day dozens of people were burned to death in a church set on fire

More importantly, Obama campaigned for a candidate who had the stated objective of dismantling US & Kenyan government efforts to root out AL Queda and other terrorist organizations. Organizations that had already caused the deaths of hundreds of Americans and Africans in embassy bombings. Senator Obama’s actions—intentional or not—were in direct conflict with the efforts and interests of US national security. I think this raises serious questions about the judgment, maturity and readiness of Senator Obama.


Reverend Wright and Barrack Obama: Obama met Wright when he moved to Chicago after college. Here is a quote from Obama, "And that's where I met Rev. Wright and started going to Trinity United Church of Christ and he helped me on another journey and introduced me to someone named Jesus Christ. And I learned that my sins could be redeemed. I learned that those things that I was too weak to accomplish myself, maybe he could accomplish them for me if I placed my trust in him. And I learned that ordinary people can achieve extraordinary things when they believe in him and they come together and are guided by him." And yet another quote from Obama...."And then I've got to give a special shout out to my Pastor. The guy who puts up with me, counsels me, listens to my wife complain about me. He's a friend and a great leader not just in Chicago but all across the country, so please everybody give an extraordinary welcome to my pastor Dr. Jeremiah Wright, Jr., Trinity United Church of Christ." First of all, for all you people screaming about Sarah Palin being a nut job Christian and praying for our country......what do you have to say about Obama and finding Jesus Christ? Talk about a double standard there. Furthermore, this goes to show that Obama was close to Rev. Wright and his claim that he had no idea about Wright's views are just untrue. You cannot attend a church for 20 years and seek counsel from a man and not know what that man stands for.....pure hatred and racism. Barrack Obama also refused to denounce Rev. Wright stating that he could no sooner denounce a family member. However, as Rev. Wright continued to spew out hatred from his mouth.....in Obama's best political interest...he threw his mentor and pastor of 20 years under the bus to try and save his career.


These are just three associations of Barrack Obama. This doesn't include Rezko and the monies given to Obama's campaign and the help he received in buying his house at a substantial lower price. This doesn't include Obama's association with ACORN and the fact that Obama himself trained ACORN members in Chicago.

So many cowards post here and just change the IDs, names or whatever they decide who they want to be when you are just one person. Maybe some agree with the negativity, but the USA has spoken. Deal with it. The man will be in the White House four years, and hopefully, eight altogether. Were people busy focusing on holding GWB accountable even if he had an excuse for a fart? Did you want to know why he farted? No. He did whatever he wanted to, and now this country has to pay for it with the trillions of dollars deficit. Cmon people get real. Obama is greatness, and he is only a man and not God. Too many people expect miracles that only Jesus Christ himself can perform. Why not trust and believe in God that Obama is going to do his best to run this country to the best of his ability, with the help of the brilliant people he has surrounded himself with. The man is well educated and smart, and he has skills. It is so awesome to think that finally, just finally a black man gets to run the White House instead of build the White House. It just really makes me proud of my country that we have come this far. But, it is obvious by these posts that we have a long way to go. Just imagine, God allowed this to happen, and I think that is really, really special. This is what Michelle meant when she said what she said some months ago. You have to know where she came from and what she has been through to say what she said. I just feel so proud to be an American, and that someone that looks like me has finally made a difference in all walks of life. So many people are in denial of being racist, and make all kinds of excuses when they are accused. So many people don't realize it. Don't look at the stereotypes portrayed on the tube. Its just entertainment folks, as evidenced by President Obama and other smart individuals.

President Obama is a man

who wants to sit down and civilly discuss things without preconditions.  Now either he is lying about converting to Christianity and that doesn't bode well for Americans if he sides with the Islamic extremists OR they want him dead too for switching his faith in which case there will be no discussing of anything with those people.  So where does that leave us?  If Obama converted after being raised Muslim, he should know better than anyone the rule for converting.


So either Obama will turn on us and side with the Muslims or the extremists will do all in their power to try and kill our president for being an infidel.  Either way.....how is this good for the US.

Oh, wait....no...it can't be....the audacity of this man.  He isn't even president yet, and just look at how he has changed this country.  He has given people hope for a brighter future....the nerve.  Things were much better when we could just torture people at will, invade who we want, pi$$ off the world, and not have to deal with those pesky civil rights.  Oh, those were the days!

In his first day in office, President Obama

-- hit the ground running.  Just got done watching TV to see what his first day was like.  Just for fun, I looked up Bush's first day in 2001.  Here's what I found:


"On his first day in office, Bush moved to block federal aid to foreign groups that offered counseling or any other assistance to women in obtaining abortions.  Days later, he announced his commitment to channeling more federal aid to faith-based service organizations. At the time, critics feared this would dissolve the traditional separation of church and state. Bush created the White House Office of Faith-Based and Community Initiatives to assist faith-based service organizations. In a televised address on Aug. 9, 2001, Bush would announce a national policy on stem cell research that authorized funding and research work, with federal restrictions over the use of human embryos." 


Yeah, that whack-job started whacking way at women's control over their own bodies, tried to integrate government and the church (HUGE mistake!), and to outlaw one of the most promising medical breakthroughs.  I'm surprised witch-trials and book-burning didn't come back into fashion again under his "leadership".


 I think where he belongs is in some isolated, authoritarian religious cult out in the middle of nowhere.

Does what President Obama said today about companies going offshore have anything to do with what is happening to our jobs?  I am confused.  Does this just have to do with losing tax money or losing jobs?

President Barrack Obama has made a huge list of promises.  As you can see, some promises he has already broken and we aren't even into his presidency a whole week yet.

During the electrion primaries and now with President Obama
we hear so much about creating jobs for Americans.  The unemployment rate is at an all time high, and yet no one seems to say anything about jobs being lost to India.  Isn't there something being done by the politicians who so wanted our votes to protect American jobs?  This is criminal.  I know if I was a business owner I truly could not find it within myself to betray this country and cause Americans to be jobless.  I am honestly reaching for answers.

I hope our new President does go to work for our jobs, meaning all American jobs, as he promised.  I did hear him make that promise, but it is not necessarily looking good at this point.  To see his offshoring comments, can be seen at www.loudobbs.com. 
Hit the nail on the head. President Obama is....
showing his true colors immediately. We are rapidly becoming the socialist states of america. Those of you who voted for him....I don't think you are going to like where the road leads. Even some Dems now trying to put on the brakes. Too late...the train has left the station. Unless of course you intend to join those at the bottom of the ladder and wait for your freebies. Problem is...when all of we worker bees are forced to the bottom of the ladder and all the "rich" move off to another country...who is going to be working to pay the taxes for the freebies? THAT is what socialism does. It is the great separator. The only people in the country who have anything left are those attached to the government. The new "rich." No middle class, poof, gone. Just the government and the beholden poor. If you look real close down the road...you can see it coming, if you dare look.

Can't wait for the rest of his term (tongue firmly in cheek).
