not have US citizenship once he was adopted. You need to go work on that one. Only way he could be a US citizen after that is going through the immigration dept process again, applying for citizenship, of which they ALSO do not have any papers on that.

We are literally paying for their
countries defense. We are ultimately paying for our own self destruction. China doesn't like us. They have been civil because the US has controlled the seas for so long and we had an awesome military and great defense. Now Obama is wanting to cut back on our countries defense and sit down and talk with countries while China gets more of our money to go towards its own defense. If they take control of the seas and have a greater military force than we do.....do you honestly think they will still play nice? He!!s no they won't.

Meanwhile Thursday, the Clinton campaign asked Obama to debate once a week, but he demurred.
Obama, riding a wave of fundraising from large donors and small Internet contributors, also raised $32 million in January.
Clinton acknowledged Wednesday that she loaned her campaign $5 million late last month as Obama was outraising and outspending her heading into Feb. 5 Super Tuesday contests. Some senior staffers on her campaign also are voluntarily forgoing paychecks as the campaign heads into the next round of contests.
Obama and Clinton outpaced all candidates in 2007, with each raising $100 million.
The Obama campaign said on its Web site that $7.2 million has been received since Tuesday evening. Campaign spokesmen said they were confident the figure was accurate.
Buoyed by strong fundraising and a primary calendar in February that plays to his strengths, Obama plans a campaign blitz through a series of states holding contests this weekend and will compete to win primaries in the Mid-Atlantic next week and Hawaii and Wisconsin the following week. Obama might not take lobbyist money...
but his VP certainly does.

HOT AIR - How thoroughly did Barack Obama vet Joe Biden? After months of demonizing lobbyists, Obama selected a running mate who has taken millions in contributions from those same lobbyists Obama supposedly eschewed, at least until the DNC started running out of money. In fact, Biden’s son works as a lobbyist on Capitol Hill, accruing the kind of earmarks that Obama has both decried and pursued:
Biden has accepted $5,133,072 in contributions from lawyers and lobbyists since 2003. Obama does not accept contributions from federally registered lobbyists.
And he has one other weakness that hasn’t received much attention to date. One of Biden’s sons, Hunter, is a registered Washington lobbyist in a year in which Obama has been excoriating lobbyists and the culture of corruption in Washington. The younger Biden is a name partner at the firm Oldaker, Biden & Belair, LLP, and seems to have specialized in lobbying for just the kind of earmark spending by Congress that Obama has vowed to slash.
Also expect to hear more about Biden’s close ties with credit card companies. His largest contributor (based on total contributions by employees) over the past five years has been MBNA, the Delaware-based bank aquired in 2005 by Bank of America than until then was the world’s largest independent credit card issuer and a major supporter of the 2005 bankruptcy bill that Biden crossed the aisle to support.
Once again, I want to point out that lobbying is a Constitutionally protected exercise. The First Amendment gives Americans the right to petition Congress, and nothing prohibits or even discourages citizens from organizing in that effort to harness the power of numbers. Run ethically, the practice of lobbying fills an important role in politics.
Of course, I’m not the one declaring lobbyists persona non grata in the Democratic Party. That was Barack Obama, who declared just two months ago that lobbyists would not fund “my party”:
The Democratic National Committee will uphold the same standard: We will not take a dime from Washington lobbyists or special interest PACs. … They will not fund my party!

It looks like Obama didn’t just throw Hope and Change under the bus, but himself right along with it. Whether this is hypocrisy or incompetence, it’s stunning either way.

The portraits appearing on the various denominations of US currency has not been revised since 1929 when there were 12 denominations, but 2 of those did not feature former US Presidents (Ben Franklin on the $100 bill and Salmon Chase, US Secretary of the Treasury under Lincoln on the $10,000 bill).
Since then, the $500, $1000, $5,000, $10,000 and $100,000 notes have been taken out of circulation, last printed in 1945 and discontinued in 1969, although the $5000 and $10,000 had effectively disappeared long before then. That leaves only 7 denominations currently in circulation.
Treasury Department records do not reflect the reasons these 7 statesmen were selected. By law, only the portrait of a DECEASED individual may appear on US currency and notes. That would eliminate Obama, at least for the time being.
In the unlikely event that the treasury should issue higher denominations in the future, the next one up for release would be the $500 note, unless they opt for an amount that does not follow the previous denomination sequence. Obama is taking our money... you would be

Nigeria seizes money for Obama...
Nigerian anti-graft investigators have seized money raised by the head of the Nigerian Stock Exchange to support US presidential candidate Barack Obama.
The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission said it would give the money back to those who attended a gala dinner in Lagos last month.
The EFCC said it had seized 74m naira ($630,000, £314,000), but said no Nigerian laws had been broken.
US political parties are not allowed to receive contributions from abroad.
I haven't seen the video, I don't think I need to because I myself will never have an abortion, but just like any procedure I would have done I would think I would want to know what it involves so you maybe someone having it should watch it!

How can one's child being in the military sm
equate to a point for foreign affairs experience? Please explain that to me. I know a lot of people whose children are in the military, in the war zone and not one of them would say they have foreign affairs experience. Also, didn't she herself say she doesn't know anything about Iraq.

I've been active in politics for nearly 45 years, take my vote very seriously and keep myself well informed on all issues from both sides of the aisle.
Your simplistic dismissal of the jobs loss problems as being atrributable to the illegal immigrants only demonstrates how superficial your understanding is on the subject and speaks volumes about the sources for your information. You, my dear, are the follower, not me.
My support of Obama is based on the emergence of the right man at the right time for the job. I did not cast my vote this time around on my own behalf, like years past. This time, I did it for the sake of my son and the kind of world in which I want to see him live out his years and I can assure you, I do not envision that world being handed over to the divisionist viewpoints you have expressed where its okay to single out any given group on which to dump responsibility where it does not belong.

A mother and her missing daughter are reunited seven months after a hurricane devastated New Orleans
THE last of more than 5,000 children missing after Hurricane Katrina has finally been reunited with her mother, ending the largest child-recovery effort in US history.
After seven months of searching by her mother, amid fears that her daughter had died in the flooding in New Orleans that followed the hurricane in August, four-year-old Cortez Stewart was reunited with her family in Texas.
Cortez was the last of the 5,192 Gulf Coast children listed as missing or displaced after Hurricanes Katrina and Rita struck the region. Of those, all but 12 have been found alive and all of those are now back with their parents.
For Lisa Stewart the happy ending came when she was contacted by the National Centre for Missing & Exploited Children that said it had found her daughter. “I was overwhelmed, happy, joyous,” she said.
During their separation her daughter’s fourth birthday had passed last November with no sign that she was dead or alive. “It was devastating,” Mrs Stewart said.
When the storm struck, Cortez was with her godmother, Felicia Williams. After seeking refuge in a hotel, Cortez and Ms Williams were winched to safety by helicopter and flown to Atlanta, Georgia.
Mrs Stewart and her five other children were rescued from their home in New Orleans as the floodwater rose.
They were taken to the nearest piece of dry land, an interstate overpass, where they stayed for four days, before being evacuated and placed in a flat in Houston, Texas. For months Ms Williams and Mrs Stewart tried to make contact, not knowing if the other was alive, but without success. Their efforts were hampered by incorrect name spellings and other misleading information given to government officials.
“Many agencies didn’t have a good account of who they were helping,” Bob O’Brien, director of the centre’s missing children division, said. “More than 411,000 were evacuated to more than 40 states, and it became very hard to track the movement.”
The centre traced information about Ms Williams through her former employer and then located relations in Georgia. When Cortez was reunited with her mother and five siblings last week in Houston, Mrs Stewart almost fell upon her, screaming: “The baby! It’s the baby!”
More than 12,000 adults were reported missing after Katrina. About 1,900 are still missing. More than 1,300 others have been confirmed dead.
They obviously emulate her and try to be like her, obviously not realizing or caring how terrible it makes them look. You can see from these boards that people like her do have a constituency, unfortunately.

They should go and view the video link posted below. Anyone who could view THAT and still say it is not a child that is destroyed indeed has a hardened heart. It broke my heart. I have seen abortion video before, but I have never seen anything like that. Like the preface said...you have the guts to view that, you are no longer igorant of what is really happening. was Dem supporters who said that the Bush campaign called them and said those things. First of all, and I don't like the man, Karl Rove is way too smart to have people call and identify themselves as being from the Bush campaign if he was trying to leak something like that. Second, I don't believe for a minute that if it were true and John McCain knew it he wouldn't have clocked Karl Rove. John McCain dislikes Karl Rove as much as I do. They have verbally jousted on many occasions.
And anybody who bothered to check would know the child was adopted from Bangladesh. That was a long time ago, has been debunked, and even if it were true (and I do not believe it is), it is not the same thing as saying on TV that you admired a man and that you would be proud to be on a ticket with him, and then within weeks turn right around and throw him under the bus in such a mean-spirited attack. I thought Joe Biden was better than that, and apparently I also was WRONG.

Ignorant or not...many did suggest that the child was hers...
and the reason I say that is that she chose to have the child. The child's father is in their lives; they plan to marry. I believe she is brave to be willing to take this public and still stand beside her mother, and I believe she will hold her head high. She has a wonderful support system and while I am sure it will not be easy, it will be easier than having that other nonsense hanging over her head. I feel sure this was discussed prior to her mother accepting the slot, because, as you say, it was going to come out eventually.
