Now that I don't like, but -

I do not agree with that being there at all; however, that being said, it was Tom Daschle who put that in the plan, not Obama or Biden (who is getting all blamed for universal healthcare).  I agree that needs to be taken out of the stimulus plan and allowed to fall by the wayside. 

Your article goes on to state that Tom Daschle supported Hillary and Bill's plan for health care, which was a more universal healthcare plan.  But that still does not give credit for universal healthcare to Obama/Biden.
