His news conference yesterday...and there are a few real conservative economists left in the world..
that know his plans won't work, economic, healthcare and all the others.
Obama is doomed to fail miserably, and will probably blame someone else for it all (wait for it....It's Bush's fault...well, and maybe it'll be Congress' fault too, when things fail to work out according to his great plans).
Socialism doesn't work. Ask any true economist, and ask any historian how well Russia, Cuba, Venezuela socialism has worked out.

I can see his point even though he's going out on a limb to say we are 'protecting' pro-Hezbollah protestors (so as to suggest we are protecting them only).
However, our soldiers are securing Baghdad and working hard at it. The fact that they have to even secure a rally for the very same people who wouldn't spit on them if they were on fire was more of the point I took from it.

We get Bush propaganda 24/7. They say the same thing over and over and over again until people believe it. At least Russians realized the stories Tass told them were stupid and censored. Here, if the government and news says its so, it must be gospel even if the stories can't possibly be true. They have you convinced it is patriotic to be a fascist and loyal to the state instead of to your fellow Americans. If there really is a liberal media out there, I sure wish they would speak up.

One has to wonder why they continue to expend so much time and effort on trying to villify, ridicule and harass this woman - who isn't running for any office at the moment.
Personally, I think it's highly unlikely that Palin would be nominated or run in 2012, but why are the Democrats already worrying about the next presidential race? Hmmmm? Passing strange, if you ask me, considering what we've got on our plate to deal with right now.

Most mainstream Christian denominations don't consider Revelations to be telling of the future. I have always heard it was a dream and when we studied new testament in Hebrew school we were always taught it was a dream and believed to be a dream. People read tons into Job too, but the Jews were always taught that Job was a play with a message, but not something that really happened.

media, MSNC (Chris Matthews and Keith Olbermann), Air America and the like YOU are getting the whole picture? Admit it, you just want to hear what agrees with your point of view and nothing else. At least admit the bias.
I do watch CNN, I watch MSNBC until Matthews and Olbermann come on because all you get to hear with those two is what THEY think and they don't even attempt to hide their bias. Laughable really. At least Fox does have a Dem and a Repub at the same time, which is more than I can say for most of the others. And I don't watch Fox exclusively and have heard Limbaugh maybe once or twice, because he is almost as obnoxious as Olbermann sometimes. Can't stand that ego thing on EITHER side. Trouble is...I can see that. Those folks with a Fox and Limbaugh fixation can't see the same problems on the Dem side...namely Matthews and Olbermann. Wonder why that is??

Again we can agree to disagree. How John McCain has voted goes against everything I want as a President, but there are an equal number of people to me who feel opposite. That's the way it goes.

than an "anything goes" liberal. Yeah, we make mistakes sometimes, and we're not perfect, but at least we have a goal we're striving for. And for every conservative you ridicule, I could name 5 liberals that did the same thing but the media doesn't make a big thing about it. Of course, if it's a conservative, it's broadcast 24/7 - like Sanford - but the Edwards affair was actually covered up by the mainstream media and got no attention until the National Enquirer forced it into the open. Selective outrage, anyone?
I think the media....
often creates more questions and issues than politics in general. I think all politicians are crooks and only out to line their own pockets with money, as evident by all the promises made during election year that never came into play during their actual term.
I go through spurts. I get mad and then I stop watching and then I calm down and I start watching again and then I get mad again. It is a vicious cycle.

They are openly discussing it as a divisive tactic that has been used over and over by the RNC. Chris Matthews heatedly faced down Pat Buchanan last night over Pat's attempt to be Mr. Women's Rights regarding SP. Chris noted that with this election, no one is supposed to look into McC or SP's activities or views. If the media rightly investigates McC, they throw up the POW story. With Palin, it is going to be Sexist story. The media's job is to bring us information so we can decide. Free press is essential to our country. to make sure Obama is elected. It is sickening how one-sided they all are, CNN, ABC, NBC, etc. They totally overlook anything that might reflect negatively on Obama/Biden, and jump with glee on anything having to do with McCain/Palin. What that CNN reporter did to Palin was a disgrace.
I wish I could believe everything the media
I have family that live in Arizona and Texas who are democrats. They said it was a known fact that illegals were voting left and right, all with fake SS#s and fake IDs. It hasn't been a secret that illegals are acquiring fake SS#s.
One family member, who runs a large company out there, said he stood in line with many he knew were illegal while he watched them vote and pull out so-called IDs. He knew some of the companies (through the grapevine) some of these illegals work for and knew they were hiring illegals and yet there they stood, voting as if they had the right. Even standing in line bragging about how Obama would help their families. It's not a secret if you live in these areas where you see it happening all the time. Now, if you want to believe all the hundreds of thousands of illegals voting were somehow "legal" that's your business, but I do transcription every day from Texas with doctors questioning how a patient got on disability when they aren't even legal residents of this country, so it's no surprise to me how O got in there. Factor in all the illegals in California, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and it was a done deal.

Treating captive terrorists like dinner guests will not make them like us. It will not stop attempts on American lives by terrorists. All that will accomplish is letting them know that they can blow us up and kill thousands of Americans and all they have to do is sit in a prison until released and that is all they get out of it.
Terrorists that we have released from Gitmo have gone right back. We didn't waterboard them. They were released and joined back up with their terrorist pals again. Didn't you know that as a conservative....
We feel like well, if whoever nominates another liberal, well who knows what will happen. Half the country is happy to have a progressive and worry about another conservative, and half the country feels the same way about another liberal. From my observation, the liberals are so worried about conservative activism, when liberal activism is running rampant. Even in Vermont, The People did not vote for civil unions. Gay marriage wouldn't be voted in by We The People in ANY state, so activist judges are foisting it on us, state by state.

Did you happen to see the interview Obama did with O'Reilly? He did exactly the same thing. He would give some nuanced non-answer and when O'Reilly pressed him, he kept repeating it over and over. But I suppose since he did using the "proper" words, somehow that is more accetapble to you? And he is running for the TOP spot, not the #2 spot.
