No it's not. Use google, if you dare. Some states are raising the age to 30

I have no problem with children who need healthcare. Children. Not adults.
It's just another social welfare program, when they raise the age to 30 (as if age 25 wasn't old enough to be still called a child).

It was tada - Bush.
Oh, so he's raising taxes?
it won't be Obama, it will be your state and local govt with extra fees on your cell phones, internet, cable, gas, etc.........get it? State and local - not federal
Raising taxes
Obama saying raise taxes to pay for spending.

They are looking at raising taxes on cigarettes...
to partially fund it, because the realistic Republicans on the hill know that will not be enough. Why is it a bad thing to say we need to look at all the social programs out there and prioritize? Fund childrens health care first. I would have no problem with that whatsoever. With what is left, divvy it up among existing programs. If we all agree that childrens health care should come first, I don't see why anyone would have a problem with that. I don't see why anyone would have a problem with a bill that extended the program to cover all American children but held provision to stricter signing up policy to eliminate illegals? Why would Democrats not agree to that? Because those some illegals vote them in every year probably. Sigh.
Raising taxes on ANYONE is not an answer,

If he even mentions raising taxes on
higher incomes, people will pull out of the stock market in droves, driving it down even further; thus, no capital gains to use for his programs. There is no way he is going to even hint at it, though it is coming.

Mr. Steele,
In response to your urgent ''roll call'' of Americans... (and solicitation of a donation) I can assure you that I certainly am fed up with the Obama administration and congressional Democrats. But I must inform you that I am equally fed up with the Republican party as well. What’s more, I feel great sense of betrayal because I expect Democrats to act exactly as they have, but not Republicans.
TARP and other bailouts were not a good idea just because they were begun by Bush. The further bailouts, stimulus, deficit increase, nationalization of American business, universal healthcare and other travesties against capitalism are not bad ideas simply because Obama owns them. These are wrong, no matter who is in charge. Bush threw the ball, Obama knocked it over the fence. Way to go.
Only in Washington, DC does it make sense to say, ''I’ve abandoned free-market principles to save the free-market system.'' What makes our free market possible is the freedom of losers to fail and winners to succeed. No one and nothing is too big to fail. It’s how we weed out bad ideas. You might remember this next time you are tempted to run a RINO for president.
The Republican party allowed Obama to be elected by fielding such a poor presidential candidate. McCain: Heck of a guy, admirable character, but not a true Republican. By the time I voted in my state Ohio primary, any other appealing Republican candidate had dropped out. In November I was forced simply to vote the NObama ticket. I did not want a candidate who would ''reach across the aisle.'' I wanted a conservative Republican candidate. Had it not been for Sarah Palin, I might as well have stayed home.
I will not be attending the Republican ''listening tour.'' Listen to this: The dismantling of the American way of life is on Republican as well as Democrat heads. I now consider myself an Independent. In 2012, if the Republican party manages to run a strong conservative candidate I will vote for that candidate. If the party persists in ''moving to the center'' and watering down its traditionally conservative principles, it will find itself in this identical situation.
Thanks for asking, I feel much better now.

No, you're the one raising the ANTICHRIST spectre.
quacks squared
Ummm, the part about raising the coverage
Did you not click on the link? It has to do with Medicaid.
I, at least, read it. Thanks for finding it.
Yeah, it's that pesky TRUTH raising its ugly head again, huh?
xx
JBB, you may have a point, so hard raising a daughter these days!! (Cute!) :-)........nm

How dare you!
Just because she differs from your view points doesn't mean she shouldn't be allowed to be on this board. I for one agree with a lot of what Sam says. This board is way right-winged. It needs people like Sam on here to bring focus to the other side. If you don't care for her posts and opinions, be the bigger person and ignore them instead of whining and complaining.
I'M WITH YOU SAM!!! ![](http://forum.mtstars.com/smileys/smirlove2.gif)
How dare you
You know, you really hurt my feelings today. I know that probably doesn't matter to you, but today I really realized that this is the world I am bringing my daughter up in and there is nothing I can do about it...nothing. Mean, hurtful people. I would lay down my life for my daughter without a thought to save her, but there is nothing I can do to save her from this cold, hateful world that we live in. How dare you treat me like that? How dare you be so mean! How can people act like this? I'm not some sheltered idiot who doesn't know which way is up, but I have never had anyone be so hurtful and mean in my adult life. If my FOUR-YEAR-OLD ever talked to anyone in the way that you just talked to me, there would be some serious disciplinary action. Shame on you.
How dare he!!
You mean Obama actually wants to encourage teenagers and young adults to be decent human beings and productive members of society. The horror of it is beyond comprehension!!
How dare they!!
How dare homosexuals want the right to be married and enjoy the benefits thereof, just like "normal people." How dare they "draw attention to themselves" demanding rights and equality.
Give me a break. Anyone that wants to commit themselves to a relationship should have the ability to do so. Why should a gay couple not be allowed to "live happily ever after" and have the rights (and problems) that go with it.
If you don't "believe" in gay marriage, than don't marry someone of your own sex.
Big Bad, How Dare You
Forget Rufus Wainwright in the music list? ;-)
