Obama's plan is not based on
The government will not be "in charge" of anything excep ACCESS to a healthcare coverage plan. It will still be private companies and if you don't want the national plan, you do not have to join it....keep your own if you like. Read the plan. All he is proposing is to open up the current plan that now covers Congress, Senate and federal employees to citizens. That plan is like any other. It has several different deductible schemes, choices of levels of coverage (PPO/HMO) and a range of premium amounts. All O is trying to do is make health care available to all Americans at affordable prices.

Second of all, the only thing a person will get from AL Jazeera is extremely biased against Israel. The entire middle east hates Israel. This has been well established. They are surrounded by enemies and even have enemies within their own borders -- Hamas which is why they invaded the Gaza Strip. Are they supposed to sit by and watch the Hamas terrorists send their suicide bombers to kill their civilians? Are they supposed to simple swallow the hatred and threats against their sovereignty?

There is no contest there. The fact is William Bennett didn't deserve to be chastised and the fact that you still refuse to see that is glaringly apparent. You see what he said as racist because you WANT to. There is no other reason. And that's too damn bad. As I stated, I am mixed race. I grew up with a whole lot of prejudice from BOTH sides, but I also grew up with parents who taught ME not to BE a racist. People who look for racism in every single statement are what is dividing this country. Any African-America who speaks up for Bennett will be labeled an Uncle Tom. It has already happened. What America needs is the ability for the people to vote a no confidence vote for whomever is in office or to be able to recall the president. This is a flaw that we are not able to do this. If such was in place, this administration would have been long gone. I have no doubt that this presidency will go down as the worst presidency America has ever lived through. What is so frightening is we still have more than a year to go, just think of all the ways Bush and his group can cause terror and mayhem in America and the world.

Bush made frequent use of "signing statements" in order to get what he wanted, and not all of them were publicized at the time. He would sign the bill and then add a little "P.S." that basically nullified it if Bush so chose.
If this vehicle is available to Obama, as well, then we may not know it for a while.

The electoral college members will enthusiastically cast 365 votes for him in December. On all airways and in all media outlets, he is referred to as the President Elect. He will be sworn into office in January. Get over it. You make yourself sound even more petty than Malkin. Why get so hung up over a trite technicality? Why not use your time more constructively, like trying to figure out what to do about the GOP leadership crisis/vacuum and their need for a platform transplant?

I just cannot condone late-term abortions. For that to be legal.....I just think that would be horrible. If a child can survive outside of the womb even though it hasn't been born yet and then it is aborted.....that is just plain and simple murder and if we allow that....what does that say about us? That is what a governor's approval rating is.
The math shows us how much of an overall approval rating of these same factors she has nationwide. SP was only in the governor's office for 20 months. She is still an unknown quantity here and will remain so. The only people who can rate her job performance are the one from her state, since she is not known in the lower 48. The math merely points out exactly what that means within the context of a national approval rating of job performance, since the rest of the 49 cannot possibly be included in that figure. Thus on a national level, that 0.182% means next to nothing.
