Wow.. It's unbelievable the conceit that Americans have. One world government? -- that would be based on speculation. What makes you think other countries would even agree to being under the same rule as the US when (especially since the reign of Bush) other countries look at us like we're idiots and war mongers? Let's take Canada for example. They don't have the same problems as the US. In my view they are a much more progressive country with not nearly the problems with special interest groups as the US. Did you know that in order to become a Canadian citizen you have to first prove that you have a viable income? There are many other countries with successful governments. What makes you think they want a bunch of Americans messing that up?

As well as former governor of Mass who
is also a Republican has come out in support of Obama, and he said he has never backed a Democratic presidential nominee before. The rats on that sinking ship are lessening in number day by day.

Hopefully some of the dems will vote no on this tax funded killing spree on babies. I will be sending mine to Tim Moore, Dave Camp, and P Hoekstra, all Republicans. Since Debbie Stabinaw is in bed with the UAW she will probably make it part of our medical coverage. "Buy a Ford Kill a baby" no sense writing to her. Carl Levin is Jewish, but they don't seem to mind this type of Holocaust.
Catholic hospitals would loose their federal funding if they didn't kill these innocent babies, I suspect they will just eliminate all maternity services rather than do the unthinkable.

Bush just did not do this all alone, he had had help from congress and senate. I blame them, just like the mess congress and treasury department and mortgage companies for our economy. It is not just Bush' fault. Remember, Bush saved us from having war on our own soil.

you have to ask yourself WHY does one need to pass a law for diversity in media ownership. ANY American in this country is allowed to own/manage media without bias on race, gender, or anything else. You start opening our American media up to foreign countries (which is what this entire law is about and you have to understand why) and you have started opening a flood gate of foreign interpretation as to what they consider "free" speech. Foreign intervention into our media is a definite no-no. Why do you feel foreigners need to run our media. They are already involved enough but we should never allow our media to run by foreign entitites.....common sense should dictate why.

Biblical worldview versus secular worldview
Here's where the debate breaks down, and we come to an impasse...
You come from a secular world view, and I come from a Biblical world view. I see where marriage was ordained in the Garden of Eden. You see that it was established later on based on economics. You see us as just animals, but I see us as being higher than the animals though mammalian in design. You think because ancient societies embraced homosexuality (the Greek empire and the Roman empired that it made homosexuality okay). I see the reason these societies fell/dissolved was because of their overly decadent lifestyles which included rampant homosexuality and far worse killing other humans as sport. You know, Christians were fed to Lions and burned from poles for lamplight in ancient Rome.
Because I come from Biblical worldview you see me as judgemental and intolerant, but from my worldview I see the historical consequences societies have paid for endorsing and embracing ideas such as homosexuality and disregard for human life.

The moment somebody brings up something that is questionable (and with good reason) about Obama the liberals are quick to say it's hysteria. Watching all the news stations its the same way. It was even brought up on one of the stations tonight about the vicious attacks on Palin. Now their coming out with a porn movie intentionally starring someone that looks like her (I'll be a lot of the liberals and liberal media are happy about that). But once again I heard the liberals say that the poor democrats have been "picked on" for so long that this is okay behavior. The disgusting way they turn it around and will say conservatives are "picking on Obama", but with their dirty campaign tactics and commercials they are only "bringing to light" the truths about McCain. It's all very one sided and I see that on this board too.
Conservatives have a very real and very valid concern about Obama and his shady past (to include where he was born and if he is actually legitimate to become president). The people who are his mentors, spiritual advisors, who gave him his start in politics, and the people who are advising him, along with the dirty bashing from liberal media, makes it very hard for one to have any "faith" in this person. He is so busy covering up his past, his voting record, the people he associates with, etc, etc. Sure he's a stellar speaker. After all - he is a lawyer. He knows how to capture his audience with stories. But lynch mob....I'm hearing it on Obama's side too.
It's hard not to laugh at unfounded hysteria.

I don't think it was a single person responsible for this. Apparently, there was a whole mob of shoppers outside who broke the door off its hinges trying to get into the store and not one single person stopped to help him. There were other Walmart workers injured just trying to get to him to help him. I just can't imagine what these people were thinking....that that man's life was worth the 40 bucks they saved on an ipod or something.

Why should we have to evacuate people who went there on their own free will? Lebanon is not Hawaii. It's one of the most unstable countries in the world. This is definitely one risk they should have planned ahead for, but no, they fully expected that when all heck broke loose that the U.S should be on their doorstep immediately to evacuate them. They are complaining that they were asked to pay $200 to be evacuated!!! They paid their way in, so why not pay their way out? When a cruise ship comes to pick them up for their 3 to 4 hour ride to Crete they can only complain that they waited to long, it was hot, there were flies, and that the menu for the 3-4 hour ride was not up to their standards. Oh, they are lounging on the deck in bathing suits, but they are suffering so baaaad, and it's their government's fault. Ingrates.
To address what you said about Bush's articulation challenge I will say this. Talk is cheap no matter how articulate or inarticulate you are. Actions speak louder than words. You can be eloquent all day long, but if you never put any action behind what you say your pretty words are best left un-uttered.
