Don't you remember your history about the Boston Tea Party, the Stamp Act. How about the American Revolution?
We as Americans are not going to sit around and let bureaucrats dictate to us about everything and tax the high ka-hooties out of us. They are passing the highest in history spendulous/porkulous bill and having us pay for it and it needs to stop. They need to know our dissatisfaction. While we may not have crates of tea to toss into the Boston Harbor, this is one stand all American's can make. This is a direct protest of letting them do what they want.
I'm still waiting for people to start protesting that automatic draft that was just approved.
As an American citizen it is your duty to fight for the freedoms our forefathers and founding fathers gave their lives for. Can you imagine what would have happened if we never had the American Revolution.
Read up on your history. This is the most important issues of our time. Maybe you should turn off your American Idol or Survivor and participate in what could be the most important event and if you don't care about people of your generation then there are our kids and grandkids. All I know is they should not have to suffer because we were too lazy to do anything for them.
We don't need to "volunteer to help those less fortunate". That sounds like a bleeding-heart liberals automatic response. In case you haven't heard, that phrase went out with disco.
What will give us self-esteem is standing up for what is right in America. What will give us self esteem is recalling all the politicians who have turned against working for us and turned into self-gratifying self centered leeches who only care about themselves.
Joining in the cause to help put congress back to working for the American people is the best way to get self-esteem. To know that our voices have been heard. We should all shout out
