Follow me now....listen. Obama SAID he is going to give a tax cut to 95% of Americans. He has said it REPEATEDLY. FACT: 95% of Americans DO NOT PAY federal income taxes. Between 30% and 40% DO NOT. Okay...focus here now. HOW is the great and powerful OBama going to give a tax break to THOSE 30-40% who are a LARGE PART of that 95%?????? You said yourself: You cannot be given a tax CUT if you do not pay taxes. Look at his plan AGAIN re: refundable tax credits. THAT is where the 30-40% are going to get their "cut." IN the form of a check. Good grief, it is so simple, is THAT why you don't get it?
If I am so misguided, please help me understand...95% of all Americans are going to get a tax cut. He said it. Repeatedly. 30-40% OF that 95% DO NOT pay federal income tax. So WHERE, unless he is lying through his teeth, is THEIR TAX CUT going to come from, if not through refundable tax credits in the form of a check? Try reading the article before getting all indignant, and pay special attention to the part about the only really EFFECTIVE criticism of Obama being that which has come out of the left-sided, progressive wings of the DNC...not a hypocrite in sight. Sooner or later, for their own good, the GOP is going to have to come to terms with what ails them and how they screwed up in this last election cycle. Although I totally agree with EVERYTHING you said, I'm sure that Bush will find a way to keep all the kids of his rich "base" out of combat, the same way he was kept out of combat by his rich dad. Maybe if Dubya had the GUTS to see some combat action on his own, he'd think twice before sending our children out to die for a bogus war that he needs because he feels that no president could be considered truly successful without one military "win" under his belt.

My husband works for a company that would be considered a moderate size company. Nothing major. They employ good people and pay them well above minimum wage in order to retan good hard working people.And they also are self-insured, which means they self pay for their own insurance plan. It only takes one employee to come down with a catastrophic illness and that would be it for the insurance plan. My husband knows the details here and be rest assured, he knows with O's plan, they would be out of business with all the mandates and wonderful delusional thinking he has some believing. They don't have loop holes but they supply a major need in this community and several others and like I said, take good care of their workers, but that will not be the case if O gets in office. Everything will tumble down with all the mandates and socialist programs he has up his sleeve.
