the GOP folks you think are dying away or leaving are going?  Do you honestly think they're moving to the Democrat party?  Really????  Don't you realize that over the course of history the GOP and Dems have always had course corrections in their parties?  You do remember that MLK was a republican in the 60s, right? 

I am proud to be a republican, but I know that my party is changing.  We don't have a solid front-runner. Palin (while I personally liked her) needs more experience before taking that high of an office.  Most of our most public figures are older white men. 

Obama got elected on style.  He's a smooth talker, acts cool, and was different.  A slightly higher majority of Americans (and trust me, the election was not a landslide, only about 10% difference which ain't much) voted him in.  I don't like him.  He's obnoxiously arrogant, and I don't like him apologizing for our country.  Yes, Bush was arrogant too, but it was a different kind of arrogance.  He knew he was the leader of the most powerful nation in the world and I believed he did what he felt was best for our country.  While you all hated his reasons, I trusted him. 

Obama, on the other hand, his arrogance is that he thinks he's better than the rest of us.  The attitude that comes across is one of we should just be happy to be in his presence.  He's book smart.  But his inexperience is obvious.  He's a puppet.  Just like you libs thought Chaney was pulling the strings, Obama is just the same.  It's obviously not Biden (good Lord, what an imbicile), but there are plenty of others behind the scenes pulling those wires. 

All I'm saying is that I'm just going to watch and wait. My party will rebound and the Dems will eventually implode as is going to happen because each party always does.  You're partying now after your so-called 8 years of hell, but I'm just waiting. 

He doesn't sugar coat.  He's got his problems, but he owns them.  He doesn't dance around them, sweep them under the carpet, double talk his way out of it.  I mean, we aren't going to wake up tomorrow and find out Rush has been hanging with terrorists, is a closet muslim, or the antichrist.

There's a certain honesty to Rush that some people like and others don't. 

who provides campaign funds.  Do you know why lobbyists are making the headlines?  Because they are bribing the politicians of both parties - lobbyists work for private interests (AIPAC) along with the pharmaceutical company ($280.00 for a bottle of pills?  Only in America, folks), oil industry (record profits at your expense) credit card companies and unethical banking procedures (Funny isn't it how Visa wrote the reformed BK bill, making virtually everyone end up in ch 13 (garnishing income, including SS) after raising credit limits and offering transfer balances at 0 percent to everyone with a last name and a roof over their head?  Along with mtgs that were bound to turn into bad loans when house prices dropped which they always do after a bubble.  God, I could go on and on here but I get tired.  The nation is in such trouble.  Serious serious trouble.  There is a huge loan to an unfriendly country (did you watch the Olympics?  did you ever see Bush look more uncomfortable other than during the Stephen Colbert roast during the national press conference.  lol.  

Well I want you to know what fascism.  And I want you to know that those treasury notes are backed up by the taxpayers (you) and real estate including roads and govt buildings and parks.  Have you noticed why Save-Mart Center is owned by savemart and not a community business or the community itself?  There is somethign happening slowly and surely and it is NOT going to benefit middle class america one iota.  You must know that as a poor person, you have no power, no voice.  Elections are rigged and the politicans cease to care whether you like them or not - oh wait, that has already happened.

But thank you for such a nice, civil comment.  They're hard to come by these days on this board. 

Especially considering Bush's fondness of scare tactics.  I don't know if she drinks or not (I've often thought she looked, sounded and acted drunk), which makes me wonder if she might have one too many someday and spill the beans.  Either way, she doesn't seem like a very stable person.

I'm sorry about your career.  You weren't one of those CIA whistle blowers, were you?  We've all seen, through this administration at leas, that honesty in government is a big no-no, and if anyone tries to divulge their dirty tricks, they're lives are destroyed.
