That was not Obama's website.  That was the "campaign for America" website.  If you go to the home page you will see a picture of Obama.  That would be where they were writing an article on the new president-elect.  LOL.  That having been said, yeah they probably do lean towards the left.  That's not the point.  When I said to please note the sources within the article, I was talking about where that particular article got it's sources, one of which happened to be the Department of Energy.  If you actually read the piece you would find that there were many other references in there as well.

I'm not talking about growing bean crops instead of drilling for oil.  I'm talking about electricity.  We have an auto industry that just fell into the $hitter, the technology to build electric cars, and all the wind and solar resources we could ask for.  We could do this without having to compete with the existing oil industry.  That's why you don't see more drilling in Texas right now.  We put up another rig and OPEC lowers the price.  By the time we are through trying to get our own oil it has cost us about 3 times the amount it would if we didn't drill at all.  None of these would be able to immediately free us from foreign oil, but its at least a start.
