Sweetie, I dont want anyone dead and I mourn the dead in the gulf due to our governments inactivity..I dont wish you dead, I wish no one dead..I want us all to be happy and one as a nation and world..I want happiness, I want peace, I want contentment..However, if you attack me personally, I most certainly will stand my ground..because I am not a fool.
So now we have those wishing for my demise....

Well, I had an uncle that was quite colorful to say the least but he truly believed God had the last word in everything. When he heard someone say they "wished", he would tell them to wish in one hand and pee in the other and see which one fills up quicker, basically saying wishing has nothing to do with believing. Believing is having faith, faith in things you cannot see.

I understand being cautious, but can't you give the guy a chance? I gave Bush a chance even though I didn't vote for him. I'm not happy with how it turned out, but I wasn't wishing him out of office before he even started.

Even JC himself couldn't have hampered this avalanche, it started how long ago? And was left to keep building upon itself? I am willing to give it time, because, that's what it is going to take while they keep plugging fingers into the dike. At least Obama is trying which is a lot more than I can say about W.

Just wishing happy Thanksgiving would have been great
and if the poster had just wished happy Thanksgiving that would have been great but he then continues to post that he is happy we have a republican president, on the liberal board. That was a jab to a board where most of us are not happy with the incumbent president. Also, the administrator has asked the conservative/republicans not to post on the liberal board.
What wishing? It'll probably be true. Lots of hangovers on Wednesday from all the partying.
Not wishing anything on anybody. However, I bet you felt real good after you thought that your one liner up, didn't ya. But that's what we've come to expect from you, so it wasn't really a shock.
I don't think any sane person would say wishing Bush would die and burn in hell is an actual death
...particulary in the context of a heated political forum.
I think people are needing to create some drama to justify their actions.
The point is that both sides are naughty at times. I do notice more personal attacks by the C's though and I looked at the posts pretty carefully. The L's seem to rely on political/lifestyle issues to upset the C's and the C's just seem to respond with barking orders and making personal attacks (liberals are sissies, etc.)
The difference is that only the L's seem to be deleted and chastised on a regular basis. Isn't this rather unfair and un-American. It's called a double-standard and is not a pretty sight (and makes this not a pretty site)!!!!
