The President, no matter who he or she is, cannot make law and cannot send troops anywhere alone. Congress has to okay it. Can't lay the blame at the President's feet alone. Any President. They can influence, certainly; as can ANY politician. But the actual decision is not theirs alone...Congress has a BIG role and so it should be. THat is where we should be concentrating. Stop electing Senators/Representatives because they are Dem or Repub and if they don't do what you think they should do, rally your state and stop sending the same lame old folks up there year after year after year after year...sigh.
