bail them out and just add a few more zeros to the bottom line.

My opinion, FWIW, is that a bailout should not be made unconditionally. I think we need to hold them accountable and responsible and demand that more fuel-efficient cars and alternative-fuel cars be built and put the Escalades and Tahoes out to pasture.
