It is just really sad that

we would even have to think about that. This is this pastor's own home. Where is it written that you can't have a party at your house? As long as no one is parking in other people's driveways without permission or blocking driveways......what is the problem? This permit isn't cheap to begin with and why should they even have to go through the hassle of getting it to see if they get a tax break. This is absolutely ridiculous. Seriously.....first this.....then what? This isn't a big deal because they are just Christians and who cares about a bunch of Bible thumpers, right? I know a lot of people on this board don't give a rats behind because the moment you mention God, they start flinging mud in your general direction. But seriously....if they start going after Christian gatherings....what will stop them from controlling other gatherings?
However, if this was totally aimed at them because they are Christians and this is a Bible study they've got going on their house, as evident by the questions the pastor was asked.......this is just wrong anyway. We have the freedom to have fellow "Bible thumpers" in our home to talk about what we have read. There is no crime in that. We aren't running around naked. We aren't forcing people into our home to listen to our preachings. We aren't destroying private property. Why aren't they allowed to have Bible study in their home? WHY?!!!
