Taxes have always been that way, the rich pay more. That is nothing new. What I do not get is people who actually believe that McCain will not raise taxes. They all say they won't, but they all do. Bush-I said, "Read my lips -- I will not raise taxes." Guess what he did, he raised taxes. McCain will and has to do the same. At least Obama is honest about what he is going to do.
Also, I'm sure you make over $250,000 a year, just like Joe the Plumber. They did some "fact checking" on a person making $269,000, and under the Obama plan, that person would pay an extra $250 or so. My thoughts are if I was able to benefit for some tax relief to build a business or a career that I would want someone else afforded that same opportunity.
Obama is a smart man. Walking through an Ohio neighborhood, if Joe the "lying" plumber was making anywhere near the money he was trying to sell Obama he was making, he wouldn't have been in that neighborhood.
If you want to vote for McCain, that's cool. But when you lie or distort the policies of the other candidate for political gain, that's just wrong.
That would be me posting that John McCain did not get shot down, he crashed his plane and became a POW. He couldn't even fly, after all, he crashed his plane at least 3 times before that and friends at the academy said he was the worst flier. All he did was spend 5 years locked in a POW camp. Wow -- wouldn't that be some misinformation. Spread facts, not distortions or lies.
Go back and watch John McCain in a Hardball rally in 2000 (search it on youtube) where he says the same exact thing about taxes that Obama plans.
