He had overwhelming viewer responses saying that he was beating the *Christmas war* to death. That would be all the stuff about saying Merry Christmas, athiest signs, etc. His response on his show was to basically make out *secular America* as *viscious* and a force to be defeated. ROFL So, if you are one of his viewers who are tired of hearing about Bill-O's war on Christmas --- too bad. It's obvious to me that for him it's not his viewing audience that counts, it's his ratings for continually dwelling on or making up hot topics. I'm not sure which one of these morons is more fun to watch at this point.

The racial imbalance....
IMHO is directly related to the fatherlessness in the African-American community. It would be nice to blame it on bigotry or any other host of things, but the lack of responsible parenting and good example setting for education and honest hard work (which leads to success in life) is sorely lacking in that community. It's very sad.

Again, Reverend Wright is the man that Mr. Obama claims got him interested in politics. He speaks of him as his political father and even his surrogate father.

I know plenty of white people in the situations she described above...was one of them when I was a child. And you know what, for many of the people in these programs, she is right they could work. One of my sisters is legitimately disabled and the other one just wants to sit on her butt, read love stories all day and cry poor mouth. They're all white. I don't see anything racist about that post at all, unless that is what you think yourself.

Rush has made innumerable inflammatory racial comments
throughout his entire career and continues to do so to this day. It is not just one article (on the FAIR website no less). He has even been fired for racial comments before.
Brunson, I always read your posts with interest, and, although we do disagree on many things, I respect your opinion and your right to espouse your beliefs. You are knowledgeable, well spoken, and know why you hold your beliefs. However, in this case, I would have to say that even if he is not racist, he certainly says things that pander a segment of his audience that is, and those things are very well documented.

3. His vote against establishing a holiday for MLK's birthday and another vote to rescind the holiday, turning hypocrite to say "I was wrong" at a campaign rally.
4. While answering a question about divorced fathers and child support, McCain called the children "tar babies."

I am not an Obama supporter specifically because of his pastor's racial biases against white people and because I disagree with Obama's stance on partial birth abortion. I am against racism in all forms. I am against Obama's terrorist friends, I am very unhappy about the church Obama attended for 20 years. I am voting for McCain ONLY to vote against Obama because I do not want him to be our president. Both candidates have a lot of bad history & I wish there was another option. However, I love people of all races. You are making this into a racial election. I want to leave racial terms like "towelhead" and "oreo" and "halfbreed" off of this board. Are cows going to stop belching? I have no problem with ethanol...I have used it. My husband is from Iowa...I would love it if we started using ethanol more extensively. But in previous years, Democrats (Hillary being a primary one) opposed the use of ethanol. I guess if I believed any of those people out there hawking global warming actually believed what they were saying it would be different...but I don't. The science is not there. As I said...if the real interest is conservation with the side benefit of less CO2...fine. Just say so. But as the article pointed out...if it is as bad as they say it is, you can't stop it anyway. There is no way the man went to that church for 20 years and did not know their doctrine. But, if you choose to believe that, again, fine. I do not. I believe he knows that theology backward and forward and believes it to his core. You don't have to. That is the wonderful thing about America. We can agree or disagree. On this we disagree.
Yes, I am feeling a pinch. But I don't think the government should take money from you and give it to me. I don't think they should take money from any private business and give it to me. If you think that is fair, fine. I don't. That is how socialism/Marxism takes hold. Historically it ends the same way. I don't want that for America. Perhaps you do...you want the pinch eased for you and if that means taking money from someone else that they earned, and giving it to you, who did not earn it, to you it is all good. To me it isn't.
He never has said who the $1000 checks are going to. I am thinking not every person in the whole US of A...so not only does he get to choose who he takes the money from, he gets to choose who to give it to. That would be another interesting piece of the puzzle. If he confirms to the Marxist view, it would be issuing checks to the "poor." And he gets to define who that is. You may be okay with that...me, not so much.
And by the way...have you ever researched an oil company profit margin? It is not as huge as Obama would like you to believe. But, again, he is counting on no one researching what he says. They hear free money and that's all they want to hear. Also, do you think oil companies don't employ people? You think it is one CEO at a desk in an office raking in billions? You don't think there are rank and file regular folks who work for oil companies? Whose jobs might be impacted by you and others wanting to take money away from their employers and doling it out to people who have not earned it? You think there is a chance they might have a problem with that?
