The country took a blow in that our top officials would be accused of such things and if proven guilty the question raises, *what was Libby trying to hide?*

But, I am gleeful that the charges have been filed and if proven guilty he will be brought to justice. I hope all else involved will be brought to justice as well.

They had no right to bring Valerie Plame into the limelight if her status with the CIA was classified. Even with the picture she took in Vanity Fair, she still had not been outed to the point where she had full media attention (if at all - she did try to protect her identity with the glasses and scarf). From the looks of the investigation, we have Cheney, Libby and Rove to thank for this fiasco.
