And the attack on the moderator is reprehensible. But it is typical. Teddy and Lurker seem to be obsessed with the fact of who I am, though truthfully, I could care less who they are. But the moderator bit is really something. No respect at all.

More complaints...(sm)
and still no alternatives. Again, the question is, what should he have done that would have been better?
I have read several complaints
on this board about how the pubs are going too far right for them. Well, as an independent conservative, I just have to say that I feel the crats are going too far left. I would have no problem with a democrat who was more moderate but everything that is being done is too extreme left for me. I wish for once we could have someone near the middle that would compromise for both sides. To me...that would be the ideal president but with party corruption and politicians being puppets like they are.....I doubt either party will ever give me a candidate that I can truly believe in and that really is sad.
The IRS investigates complaints of violations.
Complaints do exactly what to solve the problem?
No one said ANYTHING about not having the right to complain, but doing so if nothing more than a dialog to nowhere. Answers, people. We need answers. If you can't come up with any, then it might be a good idea to at least give those who have a few a chance to TRY THEM OUT and see what happens.
Make sure your complaints are valid before spewing them.

it is seriously under-funded, which is why Obama signed legislation to delay the deadline for conversion. That, I believe, was the whole point of putting funds for it in the stimulus. I would guess that a lot of people do not have TVs and/or digital cable, and the coupons that the stimulus talks about would help those people who would not otherwise be able to afford to change equipment by the deadline. Changed from Feb to (I think) July.
As far as stimulus for the economy, these coupons act as money which would go to the cable companies which creates more demand = jobs, jobs, jobs. -- people have to hook this stuff up -- people who build converter boxes -- people who make the parts for the converter boxes........etc.
Any time money is spent for, in particular, a product, it creates demand and therefore creates jobs.
The 1st suit is still ongoing. O has been ordered by

The gov't already takes enough of my money. If this passes, the gov't will be taking even MORE of my money, your money, EVERYBODY'S money.
Be scared, be very scared.
The digital conversion was rolled out over a year ago and has been ongoing constantly since...
$650 million for digital-TV coupons.
TV is going digital and it is necessary for people to be able to get converter boxes. Otherwise, no news, no TV, etc.
