This man knows these things because he has been involved in Israel's intelligence community since the late 60s early 70s and is currently a consultant to the US.
Did you know that our fed gov is currently hiring like gangbusters? They are striving to improve our security as a nation. Surprise! We actually have a president who is trying to improve things! We will get attacked under Obama's watch - you can pretty much count on it. But, I suspect he will not ignore intelligence warnings beforehand - like Bush did.

First of all, if most Americans insult your superior intellect
by not considering "other view points" then I would suggest you go ahead and pack up and leave.
Second of all, the only thing a person will get from AL Jazeera is extremely biased against Israel. The entire middle east hates Israel. This has been well established. They are surrounded by enemies and even have enemies within their own borders -- Hamas which is why they invaded the Gaza Strip. Are they supposed to sit by and watch the Hamas terrorists send their suicide bombers to kill their civilians? Are they supposed to simple swallow the hatred and threats against their sovereignty?
Is it any wonder that Israeli war hawks might be shaken up
by that upstart new kid on the block? I am sure the very idea of nuclear nonproliferation dialog sends shivers up their spine since until now, they are the only country in the region that has held an impressive US-backed unclear arsenal.
Nuclear nonproliferation talks with Iran from a "do-as-I-say-not-as-I-do" and "never-mind-our-nuclear-stockpiles-in-Israel" approach is not likely to go over big with Iran's negotiators. As long as we are coming at them with this truckload of hypocrisy, they are likely to just continue on their current course of nuclear arms development (that can NEVER catch up to US-backed Israel's arsenal). Nonproliferation is a two-way street, remember? Balance of power in the region currently favors Iran's current course of action, like it or not.
I can see why Israel's war hawks might be feeling a tad nervous at this point. So yeah, this is going to be a really tricky pass on Obama's part and the very idea that he not only has intent, but also has a plan of strategy makes me feel more secure.
By the way, do you guy NEVER tire of all that fear, fear, fear?

Much as he appears to be without experience in combat, he served with Tsva HaHagana LeYisrael, Israel Defense Forces, with the Golani Brigade. The Golani Brigade is an Israeli infantry brigade that was formed in 1948. It is one of the most highly decorated infantry units in the Israeli Defense Forces. He was forced to leave after an injury.

but I do feel that it will be the people in Washington in power are the ones that will benefit the most from an Obama White House, and a democratic majority in Congress. They want power and control over this country and its people. Truly frightening, in my opinion.
While the lower income bracket may benefit in some ways, truly, the majority of American people and their way of life, will not, and will be changed forever.
It will take at least a generation to recover from this. I fear the most for our children and grandchildren. They will have a hard time attaining what was once the American dream.

I do not doubt the intelligence. But there are a fair number of people who either don't care what the man is about or refuse to see it. I think bankrupting coal plants is a critical issue. I think being accepting of skyrocketing power bills for US to make a point is a critical issue. I think redistribution of wealth is a critical issue.
Bottom line tho..if he is elected, and if he does what he promises...be very careful what you ask for. Ask Venezuela and Cuba what a failed socialist state looks like.

Why do people here do that? You do not know me so do know presume that I am "not familiar with workers' movements and do not keep up with the news." Intelligence offends you? First of all,
he beat the Clinton machine at their own game, and you should be way happy about that, at least Hilary is not Prez. Secondly, he is a black man who has been elected by the American people as President of the United States. Forgive me, but a dumb black man could never have accomplished that. You should be thanking God that we finally have a man in office who is intelligent, who may be able to help you and the rest of the middle class get a leg up. And a plus, he can make intelligent conversation with speaking in sentences, unlike W. Give the man a chance, he hasn't even been sworn in. No one bad-mouthed W until he royally screwed the American people.
Intelligence Committee?
A congressional delegation made what was supposed to be a top secret trip to Iraq this week. A few media outlets, including Congressional Quarterly, learned about it but agreed not to disclose anything until the delegation had left Iraq.
So what did Rep. Peter Hoekstra, R-Michigan do? By the way, Hoekstra is a former chairman of the Intelligence Committee and is still a ranking member. Hoekstra BLOGGED about the trip on his Twitter page and included details about their itinerary in updates posted every few hours.
In a related note, a recent debate between candidates for Republican National Committee chair featured an argument over who had more friends on Facebook. It's good to see the Republican party is embracing new technology.
Any person with intelligence would
see that this is a facetious post. No one really wants this to happen. This was just trying to prove a point and obviously the dems have twisted it around to be treason. I can't help but laugh at the idiocy on this board. It is so much better to call people names and cry about the last 8 years than to take a good look at what is going on in the world now. No worries though. When Obama runs this country into the ground, you will still blame Bush and live in your happy little demented bubble drinking kool-aid.

Clinton has never, I mean never as far as I can recall or read made a connection to Al Quada and Iraq as was done by this admin. Our reasons for attacking Iraq under the Clinton admin. was in response to Saddam not complying with UN sanctions. Two different things.
The links to Al Quada that are operating in Iraq today are there in oposition to the US preemptive military action in Iraq. They simply were not there before this war began. Our president knew there was no connection before we went to war.

CNN is not EWTN or any other Christian network, and there are constant informative, bright, lively, balanced discussions from all over the political spectrum on the credentialed news stations, as well as C-Span, but they are not constantly hiding behind a cross, rosary, bible, star of David, or whatever....can we not strive to do the same and put religious debate on the Faith board?? The Palestinians are just a tad out-gunned, wouldn't you say? This might just account for the lop-sided fatalities/injuries ratios between the Israelis and the Palestinians. In closing, it is worth noting that even with the advantage of all those terrorist toys and tools our tax dollars have bestowed upon them, security and peace of mind just seem to be further and further beyond their reach. If these brave soldiers did not have to go to Vietnam, a useless, wrong war (it has been PROVEN, DEBATED AND PROVEN AGAIN AND AGAIN, EVEN BY THOSE WHO WERE IN THE MILITARY), their physical and emotional illnesses never would have happened..and there would have been no people turning against them. There were thousands upon thousands of protestors telling Nixon, bring our boys home and a few turning against the soldiers. The war is what scarred and has continued to torture these soldiers..the wrong war of that day just like the wrong war of now, Iraq..And where is the VA to help those of Vietnam? Bush continues to cut the budget for the VA, even though we will have thousands once again home from a useless, immoral, illegal war..I read an article the other day how the soldiers coming home are divorcing quite a bit..another thing these soldiers have to deal with..physical ailments, mental ailments, not adjusting to society, divorce..these were happy job holding family people before Bush got his blood hands on them. ...the truth of this quote is why it's important. You can't ignore the inherent truth in an observation simply because you don't like the bearer of that message. I believe that if one truly examined history and discarded labels such as socialist, liberal, yes, even conservative (these labels change with time and are not static philosophies) I believe history would show that the the last part of this quote is right on about what it takes to be successful in uniting a country/party against a supposed "foe." Some have said hatred is the biggest uniter of a people that there is.
