I apologize, but this statement "Wow..  It's unbelievable the conceit that Americans have. " sounded to me as if you thought we Bible-Thumpers believed the US would head the one-world government.  The fact of the matter is that the US is not mentioned in the Bible as it did not exist at that point, but prophecy seldom takes exception with what is not existing at the time the prophecy is made.
