that I, for one, am right there praying with you. On a personal note, I hope you will join me in praying for my #2 daughter. She is having a biopsy tomorrow of a large mass on her liver.
I think everything that is wrong with our country goes back to, as you said, a few demanding that the God this country was founded on be kicked out of schools, government, all public places. We let it happen in the name of being "politically correct"........Lordy do I hate that term and I try to be as politically incorrect as I possibly can...allowed it to happen. Shame on us. We couldn't stand up for our God so how do we expect Him to now stand up for us.
I do not believe that God will play any part in this election. He gave us free will and we've exercised it, either by what we have done or failed to do. Yet He said that if His people would turn back to Him, he would deliver them. I think preachers need to stop preaching politics in the pulpit and start preaching to their people about turning back to God and getting on their knees to do it. Furthermore, I think that politicians should stop talking the talk if they can't walk the walk. Palin saying "God will do the right thing on Nov. 4" is arrogant and hypocritical but obviously she has a following. When she outright lies and stretches the truth to the breaking point, I doubt God is very pleased.
As for me, I don't believe God will have a thing to do with this election. I believe He has done what we asked for, or let happen, and removed Himself from our country. I do believe that his ears are open and He hears us and if enough of us cry out to Him, I believe he will deliver us.
Now I really am off to bed.
