Sorry, but I don't care for this kind of site on the extreme right or left. It has no believability.

I have visited a lot of chat boards.
But I have to say that of all the venomous and hateful posters, you are the winner. Most of the boards I frequent would have banned you a long long time ago. And that is left and right. It's says something about the administrator and fairness that they allow you to continue to post. I have no problem with differing viewpoints, it's just that you state yours in immature and horrific ways. I never say someone so consumed with hatred. It really must suck to be you.
I just visited the sewer that is the con board, MT. YOU are the one who
chases people from your con board. You can't be nice to anyone new, even if they're on your side. Why are you such a miserable, hateful human being?
It must SUCK to be you!
Yes, exactly! And, the President has visited personally...
with hundreds of families who have lost loved ones in Iraq. Fox televises those things frequently. Whenever the President goes to speak at a base or near a base he always speaks with families who have lost loved ones..personal visits, which is much more meaningful to families than showing up at a funeral. And good grief...his presence at a funeral would turn into a carnival atmosphere and draw even more looney protestors, How would THAT help grieving families? It is much more caring NOT to show up. If people would watch networks who actually cover those things they would realize it was going on. CNN would rather eat dirt than report those things.
Obama visited Pakistan in 1981...

1981 - Obama Visits Pakistan When All Non-Muslim Vistors Unwelcome - Bin Laden There, Too
The following asks a lot of good questions about Obama's supposedly "innocent" visit to Pakistan in 1981. One thing not asked is whether we know exactly how long he was there? Campaign mangers are known to lie a lot, especially when a troublesome issue arises. And where is our major media on this? Quiet!!!!!!
At a fundraiser in San Francisco, Ca., Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., claimed he had more world experience than his rivals, Sens. John McCain, R-Ariz., and Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., and introduced a new bit of biographical information. "Foreign policy is the area where I am probably most confident that I know more and understand the world better than Senator Clinton or Senator McCain," Obama said, according to the Huffington Post. "It's ironic because this is supposedly the place where experience is most needed to be Commander-in-Chief. Experience in Washington is not knowledge of the world. This I know. When Senator Clinton brags 'I've met leaders from eighty countries' -- I know what those trips are like! I've been on them. You go from the airport to the embassy. There's a group of children who do native dance. You meet with the CIA station chief and the embassy and they give you a briefing. You go take a tour of a plant that [with] the assistance of USAID has started something. And then -- you go." "You do that in eighty countries," Obama said, "You don't know those eighty countries. So when I speak about having lived in Indonesia for four years, having family that is impoverished in small villages in Africa --knowing the leaders is not important -- what I know is the people...I traveled to Pakistan when I was in college -- I knew what Sunni and Shia was [sic] before I joined the Senate Foreign Relations Committee." (But later he says the USA has 58 states and he's been to 57 of them, not counting Hawaii and Alaska. I guess he knows Muslims better than Americans, he certainly is not picking 58 out of the air, what about 58 relates to Muslims?) This last part -- a college trip to Pakistan -- was news to many of us who have been following the race closely. And it was odd that we hadn't hear about it before, given all the talk of Pakistan during this campaign. So I asked the Obama campaign for more information. Apparently, according to the Obama campaign, In 1981 -- the year Obama transferred from Occidental College to Columbia University -- Obama visited his mother and sister Maya in Indonesia. After that visit, Obama traveled to Pakistan with a friend from college whose family was from there. The Obama campaign says Obama was in Pakistan for about three weeks, staying with his friend's family in Karachi and also visiting Hyderabad in Southern India. NOW, It all sounds very innocent, "a college trip to Pakistan".
Pakistan was in turmoil in 1981 and ruled of martial law. Millions of Afghan refugees were living in Pakistan, while the Afghan Mujahedeen operated from bases inside Pakistan in their war with the Soviets. One of the leaders that based his operation in Quetta, Pakistan was Usama Bin Laden (The Sheik).
Pakistan was on the banned travel list for US Citizens at the time and all non-Muslim visitors were not welcome unless sponsored by their embassy for official business.
The would be only a few reasons a young Westerner of the Muslim faith would travel to Pakistan in 1981:
To Participate in Jihad, which is the duty of every "True Believer".
For religious education in a Wahabbi sect, Saudi funded, Madrassa.
In order to purchase drugs from the drug marketplace.
Pakistan was not a tourist stop nor the place to hang out with someone's family in 1981.
PS to where's sam/web sites
I realize I'll get bomb-throwers, but I could care less. I will probably just ignore it. These people are literally drunk on Kool-Aid!
There are other forums for overall conservative thinkers. If you go to activitypit.com, it's for RedEye fans (like me). The show itself is very funny in my opinion. Of course, they do have some libs on there, but they don't behave anywhere near like these people. I've become very good friends with a couple people from there. I found out one of them lives in the same city as me. Talk about a small world! Here are a couple links from RedEye's Activity Pit:
There are many more. Here are a few off the top of my head:
townhall.com
heritage.org
pajamastv.com
newsbusters.org

michellemalkin.com
newt.org
Of course, let us not forget:

Another thing many don't know is that The History Channel is owned/run by libs, so watch with caution. I personally prefer War Stories with Oliver North on FNC. Tammy Bruce was formerly president (or whatever they call it) of NOW, but not now. She has a very interesting story to tell about their ways of doing business. I wonder if any libs will look into this. And imagine this, a conservative lesbian!
So enjoy, you few conservatives!

Thanks - going to check out those sites
Thanks for the links.
There are also other far more credible sites...sm
which give valid information as to why it is not real.
The whole point to this, GP, is not JUST the birth certificate. This plays into a much larger picture in which Obama appears to be unqualified in terms of foreign policy and experienced in so many other areas. It has to do with past associations and shady current assoociations, who is backing him, how he rose through the ranks so quickly, some if not all of his campaign platform and plans for this country, some of the statements he has made that sound positively socialist if not marxist and the way the American people have been so capitivated by him. It's not even about McCain being POTUS because I can tell you that, even though I voted for him, I have some doubts about him just as you do about Obama. It is about the safety of our nation, laws being upheld on EVERY level (yeah, I know all about Bush, this isn't about him) and the future of our nation. The BC is just the tip of the iceberg.
There are two sites I checkout
Snopes - which is liberal and Truth or Fiction which is conservative. I figure if I check out both sites I've got it covered.
You avoid the nutball sites? LOL. nm
nm
Oops - your are correct - there are two sites
I had his website saved in my favorites, and that is the one it took me too. When I googled McCains name I saw the one you mentioned (plus I clicked on your link to make sure I wasn't getting different things).
The website I listed has been the official website for a long time. I was even on there just the other day. This is a new one. However, it's still a positive message. Compares the differences between the two without candidates without lying about Obama and has a buttons to the side with different links. Still nothing negative. I don't see anything regarding his family, which is fine, I'm not voting for that reason. I'm voting for what he will do for our country and how he will help us to prosper and be a great nation again. Pretty positive message there.
Again I commend her daughter for getting involved in politics. Always good to know both sides, what each politicians policies are. How they have voted in the past, what they have done in their careers and their experience (or if they even have expereince). It's great for kids to know both sides. Even greater if they learn about the other candidates too like the Independent, Constitution, Green, etc. There are more than just two parties. I'd actually like to see the Republican and Democratic party done away with. They have BOTH done a lot of damage. Especially these past couple years have just gotten worse and worse.
Insead of patronizing me, post some of the sites please. nm

I can't remember the exact sites, but will do some more checking - sm
But I do know that 1 of them referred to an Anchorage newspaper article at the time of when it happened; I don't think it was like a recent article in the Anchorage paper. I am terrible, I read stuff and try to get it all straight and forget to write down or take note of where I saw it, but I will look for it again later when I am done working.

It has been noted as a casual aside on many search sites......
That the mega-wealthy are trying to "hide" their wealth. Clothing catalogs for the rich are pushing "dressing down." Those fancy cars are getting garage duty. They did the same thing during the depression - no one drove their Duesenberg (sp?), i.e., "made to order" cars. They can sit out decades in relative comfort, they have high-tech security on their homes. Wouldn't it suck if we didn't dare venture out of our homes? What kind of "freedom" is that!!!!
Meaning, I read and try to find informative sites
xx
You put up THIS site or the site you said to check out

oh brother !!!!!!!!
Don't you ever search out the truth or do you just ignore it altogether. Obama has come out and denounced Farrakhan. He doesn't agree with him and he has told Minister Farrakhan this. He finds Farrakhans comments disgraceful and not something he wants in his campaign. However, he can't stop someone from saying they like him and want him as president. There are lots of biggots out there with enough money to get their opinion heard whether its garbage or not. Spreading malicious garbage like this is so disgusting it leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I guess you would rather have a president who is a socialist (you should read about her background).
SP brother in law
Anyone see the interview on CNN last night with SP's brother in law (the one she tried to have fired). I did not see it. What did he say?
SPs ex-brother-in-law....
This is a man wearing the uniform of the state police. The issues involved were: He tasered his 11-year-old stepson (who asked him to, but what kind of responsible adult would do such a thing?? And one who would should NOT be wearing the uniform of the state police in my humble opinion), he was found drunk on the job in his patrol car, and told his ex-father-in-law if he got his daughter a lawyer he would be eating an f'ing bullet. Now Palin says she did not fire the man who SHOULD HAVE fired this lowlife for that reason, but for other reasons. I choose to believe her, HOWEVER, if she HAD fired him for not firing this lowlife I would be in agreement with her 110%. This guy's boss was obviously NOT doing his job. It is a no-brainer. This man SHOULD have been fired. He has no business being in the state police. His appalling lack of judgment should be reason enough.
No, brother.
Well now, let's see. Is it that high-pitched nasal quality, the cheerleader lilt, the putred perk, the colloquialisms, the rambling, the echoes of Minnie Mouse, the shrill screech, the squeal, the Fran Drescher (Nanny) interludes, the nagging quality, the snide conceit, the holier-than-thou undertones, the sarcasm, the audible sneering, the condescension, or the arrogant tone that chaps you so?
Oh brother
So let me get this right...you ridicule and cut down anyone who posts a link from Fox yet you continue to post from BSNBC????????
Say it ain't so Joe.
Brother Bill
Apparently people have forgotten their outrage over Clinton's zipper problem in the White House and now he's revered regardless of the fact that he made us the laughing stock of the world. So why the outrage about Edwards? I'm outraged that he would do this to his gravely ill wife. As for Clinton, I lost all respect for Hillary for "standing by her man."
HE DOESN'T HAVE A BROTHER!
He has a half-sister.........................................Jeezus......it is raining stupid
tolerance...........oh brother!!!
Listen, I don't give a rat's butt about all this political PC garbage. Muslim countries hate us..... plain and simple. They so-called "religion" teaches hatred, not love, not tolerance, but pure hatred!! What about that don't you get?
After 9/11 everyone got to PC about profiling. We're worried about profiling? H@ll with that.....I saw profile them to death. If I happen to be on a plane, you better believe I, just like everyone else, was watching them like a hawk. You can be PC about everything if you want, but this is my country, not the Muslims. They have a country. They do not teach tolerance of ANYONE but themselves.
This has nothing to do with intolerance of those different than me. What an idiotic statement. I live in a community with people different than me in so many ways, it would take a while but one thing they all agree on.....they love this country more than they care about being PC. I posted a few days ago about a Muslim couple in our neighborhood. And, they said they would go back to their country any day if they felt safe. They feel no allegiance to this country. They will tell you they do not agree with bin Laden's hatred, but they do admit their sons are taught the Q'ran, which does not teach love of anyone but other Muslims. They fear their daughters could be stoned or raped and they know no one there will protect them. They take comlpete advantage of our schools to educate their children, but there is no allegiance to this country. You need to get off your PC pot because as you can see, that'll get us nowhere real fast!!!
Tolerance, what a joke. Why don't we just tolerate them coming on over here and taking another 9/11 blow at us? Will that be enough tolerance for ya?
That should read: No brother,
That's the second time I messed up the name line this morning. Must need a 3rd cup.
Oh brother - where to start is right.
His father left his mother when he was a baby? Yet Obama was able to write a whole book based on him? He has some communication with Kenyan relatives but not all? Where did you hear this? Wait...from him? Is that his explanation? So where did you study African Tribal Family Structures and the American family strucures? I think maybe people should take a break from the Survivor TV show. If the sheeple want to be led around blindly and actually buy into the same ol retoric of oh poor Obama, he didn't know he had an aunt or a cousin or an uncle because that's the way the "tribes in Africa" are, but he knows about all these others relative (Cheney & Irish ones). Glad I'm awake through all of this. Staying away from Survivor and doing some research does the mind some good.
Am I my brother's keeper?
Am I My Brother's Keeper
I find it interesting that he does not help his family. He has a brother living in poverty. CNN is not the station I would listen too as they are not going to tell you all about the candidates, or is MSNBC.
But it is true he has a brother living in poverty. My question is...why is he so willing to spread everyone else's wealth around but not his own.
Interesting.
Oh brother - get off the kool-aid
This is even weirder than the OP message.
Where's that icon of someone throwing up!
Oh brother. Obama is doing something,
You cannot spend and spend and think you are going to get out of a recession, but will cause inflation/depression.
If you are in debt, would you keep on spending more and more and get more into debt? No, you cut things out to reduce costs and try to pay off things. You find out you are in so much debt, you ask family and friends to bail you out. It works for awhile, but you are still in debt and now in more debt because of owing money to family and friends and before you know it, you are bankrupt which is just what is going to happen with this country. It is happening now.
As for creating jobs, sure, I am going to apply now to help make bridges and roads. Sorry, not my line of work.
If Obama fails, he stated at a town hall rally in Fort Myers, Fla, where the president promoted the bill, he said that in "a few years from now" if his prescriptions haven't worked and people don't feel like he's led the country in the right direction, "then you'll have a new president."
Hello, of course not, no one will vote for him again.
That was a clear reference to his likely re-election bid in four years.
Obama said he won't make any excuses if he fails in his effort to turn the economy around or improve the health care system.
"I won't lie to you," he said.
Obama hailed the Senate's passage of the massive stimulus bill.
"That's good news," the president said repeatedly in announcing the Senate's action to the crowd, as people jumped to their feet and cheered.
By the way, McCain is running for re-election and stated:
Being the Republican nominee for President was one of the great honors of my life and an experience I will never forget. Some have wondered, after my hard fought presidential campaign, if I plan to run for re-election to the United States Senate.
I want you to know that I do intend to seek re-election. The magnitude of the financial crisis that many American families are facing makes it clear to me that I want to continue to serve our country in the Senate.
The economic challenges currently confronting our nation are immense and unfortunately, the Democrats in Congress propose addressing these challenges through increased spending that wastes billions of taxpayers dollars and saddles our children and grandchildren with a staggering debt. Their proposals will not stimulate economic growth or create jobs. While the leader of the Democratic Party, President Obama, has pledged to change business as usual in Washington and spoken of bipartisanship, I have been saddened to watch as Congressional Democrats try to use their majority to advocate more of the same failed policies and wasteful spending of the past. With so much at stake, now is not the time to step away from my work in the Senate.
Sincerely,
John McCain
Oh brother. Obama is doing something,
heading us for a major depression.
You cannot spend and spend and think you are going to get out of a recession, but will cause inflation/depression.

Lawsuit...Biden's son and brother....

oh, brother. just some nice photos,
for crying in a bucket!
Ran this past my brother who is a lawyer and...sm
a republican I might add (much to my chagrin) and he said it is a frivolous lawsuit. He added, which I already knew, it does not matter where he was born, who his father was, who he was adopted by, or where he went to school. His mother is an American citizen and he is therefore an American citizen, period. This is all just smoke and mirrors, lies, diversions from the real issues.
I didn't know Pete had a brother. LOL!
God bless!
BTW, how many adoptions has your brother dealt
NM
Oh brother. Dems are launching a
FREEDOM OF SPEECH. Oh, I forgot, we have to "change" to socialism. Well, I did not vote for it and proud of it. YES I CAN.
Oh brother!...now you're really stretching..
What a silly statement.
Oh brother - president of death???? please
Because our president believes in a woman's right to choose you call him a president of death??????? Because he's fighting so that children themselves who get pregnant and not emotionally or physically or financially able to have a baby don't have to have one you say he's a president of death?????
Your other post was religious oriented, hence with all the talk of God and how we're all doomed and are going to he!! that belonged on the faith board.
Our president is not a president of death. We have a president who is on the side of a woman being able to choose.
Obama does not want to "murder" babies. You really need to get your facts straight before proclaiming something that is incorrect. You may disagree (as I do about some of his policies - who doesn't), but to say the things you are saying is outrageous and bordering on lunacy.
Obama does not want babies murdered and he certainly is not a president of death. You are certainly the one who is misinformed (not uninformed).
If you want to protest taxes, health care, the spending bill, foreclosures of homes, loss of jobs, etc, that's one thing, but abortion is a religious viewpoint and by your posts professing to know that Jesus is alive/here (or however exactly you said that) and god this and god that and you'll be praying for all of us, etc. That is a topic for the faith board so take it there.
Oops - my slip it was OBL's brother - thanks for correcting me
On Sep 11, the morning of the attack, Bush Sr. meets with members of the Carlyle Group in Washington. Bin Laden's own brother was at the meeting.
Sorry about the mixup, thanks for pointing it out.
Have you ever seen me post anything about the Kenyan brother story?
I don't remember seeing that on this board at all. Maybe I missed that. I realize there are those on both sides who engage in this kind of thing...but does that mean that everyone has to en masse? Could not individuals decide that was not the thing to do, like your candidate asked?
Did read it. So what? Take a chill pill, like my brother used to say....nm

He DOES have a half-brother living in Kenya

Oh brother - it amazes me how many are caught up in a fantasy

WHERE DID I SAY I WAS WAITING FOR FREE MONEY...Oh brother...
I was making fun of your conspiracy theory regarding paid "SMs", but I think you know that.
