mean no disrespect. I did not put the word parent in parentheses as a slam. I put it there because in the world's way of thinking they would not be considered parents. I do not feel this way. They are these children's parents, and very good ones too! I am not voting against gay marriages. I do understand why you are not understanding my point of view, because I am having a problem expressing it. Let me try this again :-) 1) I have nothing against gays or lesbians, nothing at all. 2) I feel that, as the couple I speak of, can give a lot of love to children and to each other. 3) This is where I am being misunderstood I guess. Let's say from the beginning, if same-gender marriages existed, would there be offsprings, would there be artificial insemination, would we are a world exist??? I have probably confused you even more, and I am sorry about this. I wish you and your partner the very best in whatever you decide, marriage or not, if you love and care for each other, that is absolutely WONDERFUL! I hope I did not confuse you even more.
