I think that is highly likely........... sm

In Reply to: Why I think Palin was picked as VP running mate - sm - My take on all this is ---

McCain could see that the mess that was about to be dumped into the incoming president's lap was a huge one and perhaps he did not have the stamina or desire to try to figure it out. Rather than lead the country through 4 years of an uphill struggle, he just chose to end his race without actually having to say he was quitting. I also think that is one reason his concession speech came as quickly as it did. Of course, others will say because it was so obvious that Obama was going to win, but at that point, I don't think it was that obvious as not all the polls were in. They were going on predictions more than anything else. Might have been the smartest move of his political career.

Oh, I see. You don't like how highly...sm
People think of Obama. It makes you uncomfortable because it threatens your own faith in a divine being to see others express such intense admiration for a mere human being.

Don't worry. We will still be America regardless of whichever candidate wins, and you'll still be free to worship whatever mystical, magical fantasy-being you choose. No need to feel threated or jealous or be on "high alert" for the anti-Christ. It's just an election.
I highly recommend watching

Hardball on MSNBC tonight if you can.  (It's on at 7:00 and 11:00 p.m. here on the east coast.)

In the last 10-15 minutes of the show, a woman by the name of Cindy Sheehan speaks about her son, who was killed in Iraq.  She founded "Gold Star Families for Peace."  I was in tears after hearing her speak about all of Bush's lies and have even less respect for this so-called president than I had before.  I hope you can see her interview.  It is very moving.

I did a little research and found this link to an interview with her:

In my opinion, she's very, VERY a credible, compelling person.
