I really don't think....(sm)

we should be sticking our heads in the sand right now and acting like nothing is happening.  What Obama is doing is exhibiting honesty, something we haven't seen in a really long time in Washington.  This Fox writer is basically saying they would rather have Obama paint a rosy picture for the sole pupose of making them feel better?  Oh please.  If he did that (and I'm glad he's not) then the right would be all over him for it.  I think we need to deal in reality (which is what Obama is doing), not some fairy tale just to make people feel better about themselves.

Personally, I get my hope from the fact that he is willing to recognize the problem and face it head on, as opposed to the way Bush has handled it thus far, which has basically been just to hide and hope it goes away.
