If it comes down to me being able to feed my family or 3.5 million people being temporarily jobless, I'll choose feeding my family any time. It may cause my family hardships without the bailout, but it most definitely WILL cause my family hardships with it. Selfish? Maybe so, but I think it is high time that people quit looking to the government to solve all the financial woes of this country. Why not a bailout for the MT industry to get our jobs back on our own shores and pay us a decent living? Why didn't they bail out the small dairy farmers back in the 80's when the mega dairies became the way to go? My family suffered on that one....had to sell out and find jobs in the public sector and it wasn't easy at the time.

My point is that it is time for Americans to take responsibility and be held accountable for their own mistakes....the big 3 included. Stupidity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, and in my opinion, our government has gone just about as stupid as it can get if it thinks that bailing out AIG and other insurance companies, American Express, individual cities who want to "improve" themselves, financial institutions and now the big 3 will solve anything. It's throwing good money after bad and there will be no end in sight because the same beggars will come back around asking for more before new beggars have had their piece of the pie. It won't end and where is the money coming from???? MY POCKET AND THE POCKET OF EVERY WORKING AMERICAN WHO PAYS TAXES IN THIS COUNTRY.
