My mother, who is also a democrat, said to me the other day, "I just don't know about Obama. Something doesn't sit right with me about him." Now, I must say that this is in large part due to circulating emails she has gotten with vile gossip about he's really a secret Muslim. I asked her if she had ever heard one of his speeches. She said no. I said, "Ah! That is why." I told her to look up one of his speeches on the internet and she would see why people are so passionate about him. It doesn't mean necissarily that she will become an Obama supporter, but at least she will get a better feel for what kind of man he is and why he has such an enthusiastic following.
