What part of I am no interested in what you have to say do you not get? I directed my comments to the original post about whites being in a minority by 2042. I then made the mistake of responding to your attempt to educate me on the meaning of the word "trends," and to your characterization of illegal invasion. I used Mexico as an example of one of many developing countries whose populations enter the US. My exact words were "legally and illegally." It seemed like a logical choice since they constitute the largest group of non-whites in the US and they are the major driving force behind this trend. I related birth rates and demographics to the subject at hand…population trends. I then took the white minority issue and placed it into an international/global context and made offered a few comments about how I view this trend. Hello. I was talking about population trends.
In your reply you tried to direct the discussion into the illegal arena. I read down to the place where it got to be "liberals" this and "liberals" that, how I missed the point (that would be your point, not mine….I was only trying to talk about population trends), cultural invasion (yawn), how biased I am, remarking how "people" use somebody else's articles because they can't think for themselves (which I took personally, since it was not true on any level whatsoever with regard to my comments) and accusing me of "being for" illegal aliens (drawing conclusions and putting words in my mouth). Then I got to the part where you started telling us how American you are, told me to go "do" my history (I'm surprised you didn’t tell me to go stand in the corner while you were at it), and teaching me about illegal criminals, how illegal children are responsible for all kinds of diseases in schools, telling me who I need to go talk to, another liberal slam, and the parting shot of how I need to go to Mexico. Evidently I touched off some sort of nerve when I tried to talk about POPULATION TRENDS.
Okay. This looked like a big boat load of negative energy to me. In my reply, I tried to point out to you that illegal immigration was your subject, not mine. I reiterated that my interest is in population trends (do you get that by now?) and that I am not interested in dragging myself down into this negative place with you. I am not part of Lou Dobbs cult. Nothing you can say will convince me that I should re-examine my values. I am at peace with this issue and I intend to stay that way.

In my case, I take 20 (yes 20) meds to keep going; I have horrible autoimmune diseases. But you know what? I would rather take them and keep working, keep learning, and set an example for my kids NOT TO GIVE UP rather than go an file for SSDI/disability; I was told I could probably get it easily eough, but I get a pride and sense of accomplishment and worth from my work that is GOOD for me, and as long as I can satisfy my bosses, I will keep working, God willing. People who are healthy do not understand needing so many meds and doctors and tests, and even with insurance what the co-pays add up to.....THOUSANDS. Bringing up three children is also costly, though absolutely priceless and the best thing I ever did with my life. We are at a point in economic history where it has NEVER been more expensive to feed, clothe, house, give medial/dental care to, and help with education for children....and I am not crying, whining, or looking for a martydom medal. Just trying my ultimate best each day, and thought the wage thing MIGHT be one of many solutions, what we have been doing in the past HAS NOT WORKED for so many reasons. Anyway, I truly hope you personally are doing much, much better these days, it takes time and faith, but life CAN get better...all the best to you!!

In my opinion, the biggest problem in
Washington is the Lobbyists. We need to get rid of them. They are not there for the American people, they are there for their own interests - the companies that they do work for. Both sides have them - I know Biden's son was one and McCain has what, 7 of them on his team. So it is a bipartisan problem.
I don't believe Universal healthcare is the only answer, but I do believe some sort of a plan would be beneficial. I have friends that live in different parts of the world, Sweden, France, and England - they have healthcare plans and they are a lot better than anything I get with my insurance. They may pay more in taxes, but by my calculations it is what I would be paying in premiums and deductibles anyway.

My biggest problem with religion
is this....what makes me right and so many wrong. It often makes me wonder if all religions aren't based on the same "God" because so many stories in their "holy books" are similar, etc. I just wonder if people broke up and interpreted things differently and took one belief and transformed it into several religions under different names. Did that make sense?

It is truly only the liberals
who repeatedly say that Palin has hurt McCain. I think some people are obviously put off my Sarah Palin but others find her refreshing. The media is generally more liberal and so we obviously hear more about how she hurts McCain than helps, but I think she is doing great. I think they make a great team. You could say that Biden hurts Obama especially with some of the boneheaded things he has said but you don't hear people continually bringing that all. Nope....it is always Sarah.
I saw an interview with that Rothschild woman yesterday. She stated that she is not only is voting for McCain and Palin, even though she is a major democrat, but she is also going around and talking to many democrats who are not so extreme left as Obama. They too are voting for McCain. She would not name names but there are many democrats who do not want to go so extreme left. You might be surprised at the outcome of this election. It will most definitely be close either way.
And this is why the liberals are trying to
talk shows and freedom of speech where conservatives speak out against them. If you cannot be for them they want you to go away, and remember, they are in control now. That is what we are seeing every day and hearing right here on this board, an arrogant attitude. A new page, a new direction, like the whole world has already changed. The whole world does not need to be changed and will not be changed for the reasons these liberals are counting on. There are too many people wise enough to know what is happening, thank God!

I never call Republicans any of those names and I don't like it when Republicans use the same derogatory names for liberals. I don't like Ann Coulter because I just think she uses her intelligence for fear and hate mongering, but that's just me.
When people of any ideologic viewpoint call each other names, it diminishes their own standing, imo. Use your words, people! Stop name calling and have intelligent debates about the issues. That's much more fun anyway. And I've never seen Ann Coulter be able to do that, hence my dislike for her.

I do believe that the liberals
have spoken out about the war in Iraq over and over and over again and just recently there was an attack on a military recruiting center by a man who said the reason for his attack was for "political and religious" reasons and his disagreement over military operations. Gee....sounds to me like he did something because he kept hearing the libs on TV disagreeing with military operations in Iraq. Hmmm....if you want to spin something, it can be spinned both ways.....just remember that.

While at a pro bush rally I knew I was surrounded by people who generally agreed with my morale values. I knew these people were pro life, believed in god, loved America, believed all nations and people deserved freedom, and finally supported our troops. I thought if the liberals generally disagree with the conservatives moral compass what do they believe?. They support the killing of children in there mothers womb, they have on many occasions attempted to rid god from the publics view, they opposed liberating the people of Kuwait and Iraq, and are quick to call our brave troops who would die for our nation war criminals.
