I mean everyone else's families join them on stage. It would have been odd if they had excluded her.

Plus you know that us younguns usually rebel against what the parents say :) That's why a lot of times cops have kids that get into trouble with the law, preachers have sons who go out and party and misbehave, and politicians who promote abstinence and safe sex have pregnant daughters!
