US involvement was under different circumstances is what I'm trying to say. We didn't start the war in Bosnia...we assisted...remember.

I did mean to go on in my OP and say that in Iraq there was no knowledge of recent mass killings at the start of the war in 2005. Most of this went on in the 80's. I believe Saddam was weakend before the invasion due to Gulf War, sanctions, bombings, etc. And, let me remind you again (which is soemthing often forgoten when debating with cons about the war) the atrocities were not the reason our country went to war in Iraq. It was for WMD.

The troops are still spread thin. We are just as prepared for an attack on the homefront now as we were under Clinton. BTW, I don't have anymore talking points from the media than you do. How do you know you are not the one being lied to? Have you hand counted the al Quaeda terrorist left?
