I don't know.....

Not every candidate believes everything I do any way.  I would like to think that I wouldn't pick someone just because of that one thing.  Being atheist does not make a person bad.  My husband is an atheist and I'm a believer.  I married him.....so I would like to think I'd be open minded about a political candidate too.  However, I would not appreciate that candidate pushing his beliefs or lack there of on us.  I guess if this candidate were open minded to allow others to believe what they want to as well......I don't think it would be a huge issue.  I could see how some people might take it as a huge issue though. 

Think about it.....how many presidents profess to be believers and they lied, cheated, had affairs, etc.  So...I guess since we don't have a problem having a hypocrit as president.....why not a non-believer.
