First you attack me for claiming R. Bennett was a partisan Republican, which I never did. Seeing that YOU were wrong, you then shifted gears to try and attack me to say that the Bennetts don't LIKE to be lumped together and that was what I really intended to do!! Just admit it!! Believe me, someone making that amount of money does pay their FAIR SHARE. They are in a much higher tax bracket, MUCH HIGHER, and therefore, pays MUCH MORE in taxes. I'm always amazed at how those without a clue seem to criticize those that financially make more. Since when is that a crime? If you could, I'm certain you would too and would not feel you should be penalized for a higher income.
The higher incomes are what keep our lousy government afloat in the first place.

What do you think is an appropriate response to Russia's renewed aggression of late? Does it come as any surprise that, with American military forces stretched so thin, Russia would not try to take advantage? Georgia was not aimed at Obama, now was it?
This is where viable alliances come in handy. Europe is in the neighborhood and not across the ocean from Russia. Poland, Ukraine, Georgia and other countries interested in orienting themselves toward and allying themselves with the West will naturally be viewed by Russia as open targets, vulnerable to their flexed muscles.
W has done very little in the way of preserving the value of these time-tested alliances and has held the US in the isolation that is endemic to world superpower status. A diplomat he is not and the guy seems to have a real adversion to the basic concept of diplomacy.
In stark contrast we find Obama. As far as I am concerned, he cannot get to the helm fast enough, so if anything, I take comfort in the idea that we are 76 days and counting.

The area we live in is getting overrun with thugs, drug addicts, meth heads, etc. Robberies are on the rise and a lot of them happening in the middle of the night while people sleep. Kids were caught burning down houses because "I was bored and didn't have anything else to do".
I would have no problem doing whatever it takes to protect myself and home. Anyone who enters my home illegally is a skum bag and piece of dirt and I don't consider them human so have no problem destroying the animals they are.

CEO first. Obama, like most democrats, are all about unions. I do believe Obama still wants to give unions more control by getting rid of secret ballots, etc. The only reason Obama threw the UAW under the bus was because there was really no other option. Intelligent people know that UAW killed GM and we also know that Obama would stand behind them until there was no hope because so many democrats get campaign money from unions. He wouldn't stab them in the back unless he had no other choice. There is no just no other option for GM. They need to file bankruptcy and restructure things.
My father worked for GM for 30+ years as a salvage worker. He always said that the union did nothing but protect p!ss poor employees from getting fired. They paid all that money into union dues and they never got anything out of it. Unions are nothing but greed and corruption and all they do is push democratic rhetoric while using the money they receive to back democrats in their campaigns.

And I mean EVERYONE, every single country. So how bad are we really? Just as I do not believe the Islamofascists are jealous of us for what we have, and they aren't, I do not believe that portraying the US as the Great Satan is going to win us any brownie points with terrorists who already hate us. So if you and Chomsky are comfortable with putting every man, woman and child in this country at risk to satisfy whatever beef you have against freedom and democracy, fine. the human instinct of survival. They've been sold up the river 9 ways to Sunday over the past 6 decades in those so-called peace initiatives, lied to continuously by Israel and western peace brokers, occupied, controlled, invaded, their country shrunken and cut to shreds, starved, held hostage, demonized and dehumanized by their hostile, blood-thirsty captors. This is actually an old e-mail. It first came out not long after the election. So, here's my question. Does this refer to the millions of jobs lost during the previous administration or just those within the last 60+ days? Less than that if you count when the e-mail actually came out.
If you're going to go back and point fingers, at least point them in the right direction -- that would be towards the guy who not only lost jobs (and did nothing about it) but lives as well in a war that was completely unnecessary that did absolutely nothing but cost lives and run up the deficit. (Interesting that Bush didn't bother to put the cost of the wars on the balance sheet, by the way.)
