and that goes for any elected position, city council, township trustee, mayor, county commissioner, right on up to POTUS. No more sinecure for life. Way too easy for career politicians to lose their way and turn to the dark side. Nearly impossible for a newcomer to unseat a politician who has served several terms and has a re-election machine in place.
