I have a LOT of life experience. I also am NOT voting for Obama. Why?? because he is black..no, because he has no experience...no. It is because I WORKED HARD FOR MY MONEY. I am NOT going to give it to somebody who has an "entitlement" mentality and has been sucking off the public teat since forever. THat is why I am not voting for obama.
And for you to make a comment like that is uncalled for. But you are entitled to your opinion.

I am a "stupid redneck."
Gotta watch them thar rednecks, they're liable to come up and bite you on the butt.
Bristol betrothed to (*&%* redneck
Already intensely caricatured, Mrs Palin and her family face heavy exposure as the US and international media attempt to fill the vacuum of information about the relatively little-known 44-year-old mother of five.
The most recent revelations surround the announcement that her teenage daughter, Bristol, was pregnant.
In a statement, Mrs Palin, who is avowedly pro-life, said Bristol intended to have the baby and would marry the father, Levi Johnston.
Johnston has described himself on his MySpace page as "a f***ing redneck", the New York Post reports. "But I live to play hockey. I like to go camping and hang out with the boys, do some fishing, shoot some s*** and just f***in' chillin' I guess," the 18-year-old hockey player wrote.
"Ya f --- with me I'll kick [your] a$$."
His My Space page has since been removed.
Johnston also wrote: "I don't want kids."
I beg to differ, you are definitely not a stupid redneck. LOL! nm
.
I am proud to be a gun-toting, religious redneck
and from PA, but we are not any more racist than any other state or person.
The O thinks we are, so why does he keep coming into the state to compaign? You would think he would fear us. His buddy Murtha really blundered on his comment. If the O gets in, he will take our guns away and we will have no protection at all from criminals. It's our constitutional right to own guns.
He's a glib talker but what is he really saying? He definitely can't smile or debate his way through the terrorists.
Rendel-D, our precious governor, ran our state into the ground with giving money away to Philadelphia and Pittsburgh mostly for convention centers and sports centers and now for casinos. Why? He loves sports and gambling. When Rendel was mayor of Philadelphia, he almost bankrupt that city with his shenanigans. I'm so glad his term will be over soon. Maybe then Pennsylvanians will be able to get back to work. Our roads are back to being #1 on the Worst Roads in the U.S. He made sure there would be no money for road construction.
He promised all kinds of tax cuts, property taxes mostly, if the bill passed for the casinos. That was a few years ago. Where's the cut? Our property taxes went up, not down! No rebates as he promised, but we have 20,000 (exaggeration) different ways to play the lotteries between instant tickets and 3 digit, 4 digit, 5 digit, 6 digits, power ball, etc.
Casey-D didn't do a good job for us, either. He made everyone who owned a service business (that was me back then) pay 6% sales tax on our earnings EXCEPT lawyers and doctors. I'm confused. Don't they provide a service? Sure they do. He also upped our taxes.
Sorry, I don't buy the dems making a better life for us. They make it worse.
I will get off my soapbox now.
You must be a terrific parent and I
vote you "Parent of the Year." That was a beautiful post.
A parent can preach all they want to........ sm
but most times kids will stray from that teaching whether through pure rebellion or in an effort to make their own way. Sometimes they return to their parents' teaching, sometimes they don't.
Did you follow your parents' teaching to the letter? Did you follow all their rules? I doubt it very seriously. I know I didn't, but as I have grown older and have raised 2 boys myself, I now see the value in the teachings of my parents.
I agree with sbMT and others here who have said that it is sad that you find such happiness in others' troubles. I hope you are never disappointed by your own kids, and if you are, I certainly hope no one else finds joy in your misery.
Embarassing isn't it? The primary words being ignorant redneck. sm
I know lots of hicks here in Vermont that are not ignorant rednecks. We like people to call us hicks or tree-huggers. There are a few people here who hang out signs that say "Take Back Vermont" mostly to do with civil unions, but they are in the minority and Vermonters are by and large very tolerant people who mind their own business and don't abide fools. No kidding, life is good here in the Green Mountain State, with a socialist/progressive/independent senator. Go Bernie! We have affordable health care and health care for every child. We care about the environment. Go Obama!
I know we never not charged a parent for a visit -
We always sent a bill right to the parent for anything.
really, sex education is the parent's responsibility...
in my opinion. Also, I am sure that the poor quality of the educational system as a whole also contributes to this high rate of pregnancy in teens and we all know that low income teens are more likely to get pregnant and Mississippi is a poor state. I think that there are several contributing factors and it is very difficult to isolate just one. However, before anyone gets too upset, I am not against educating kids about safe sex, I just think that abstinence should be included, as well, which it was not in my California high school.
But can parent sacrifice their child to the military?
that was the question...
and No most of the country doesn't agree with the self-proclaimed martyr, Sheehan.
No parent can sign up their "child", none of which are "children" anymore BTW.
x
As a parent I do not think I need the government to encourage my child to be productive...
Yes, HOW DARE HE!!!
