Take heart. We ARE all related. If we walk away from this which I am tempted to do on a daily basis...and I mean move to Ecuador, something really drastic, if we leave, physically, mentally, emotionally, things will never change. We have to stay and fight the good fight. I have to tell you though I am beginning to understand how those folks at Ruby Ridge felt and Waco.  Of course most of their philosophy was hate and just plain insane but their resistance to the government they felt had betrayed them has a bit more clarity to me today.

This morning I heard an old Simon and Garfunkel song and it really hit home.

 I'm empty and aching and I don't know why. Watching the cars on the New Jersey turnpike. We've all gone to look for America. Change the words to bodies and New Orleans and it fits.  Aho.
