I just had my taxes done and even after paying estimated payments last year I still owe an additional $4K, in addition to my quarterly taxes now doubling this year. I feel like I'm back in the Clinton years again. - Broke and no hopes of getting ahead. I was told if I had some kids, or in debt owning my own place I would have more tax benefits, but I guess this is what I get for not having any debt, not owning a house, no kids, no health bills. I feel like they are penalizing people who are doing just average. No wonder none of us can ever get ahead. They are making sure we stay poor while they stay rich.
Now I read about all the AIG, bailouts, etc. You know what....this just sucks big time!!!
