I'm sorry but the benediction

by Joseph Lowery, in my opinion, was very offensive. Yes, he talked about brown, black, yellow, red, and white. He mentioned them all. However, the white will embrace what is right? That is highly offensive and racist. To me it suggests that we don't embrace what is right and that just isn't true. He could have just prayed for unity of Americans. Made a little blurb of the song Jesus loves the little children by saying the phrase, red and yellow, black and white we are precious in his sight or something like that. That would have been much more acceptable than the jabs he took on white people in his benediction.
I get so tired of hearing about how racist white people are. After hearing the comments made by black people after the inauguration, Lowery's benediction, and the clips from certain black ministers......I'm realizing very fast how many racist black people there are.
I don't own slaves, I'm not an ancestor of slave owners to my knowledge, I smile and am polite to black people just like every other people I encounter......so stop ragging on my race just because there are some white people who are racist. That doesn't include me so stop clumping me in with haters because from where I'm standing.....the hate isn't just coming from whity here......I see a lot of hate generating from black people as well.
